I rushed to Anakin's room. "Anakin, I think I may have an idea where Alex is."

"Oh, I hope this isn't any more of that crazy stuff," He said.

"No, it isn't. I saw her Anakin, I talked to her, my method worked." I explained to him, or tried to at least.

He gave me a skeptical look, "Yeaaah, Okay."

"Alright, I don't care if you believe me or not, I just need you to come with me," I said.

He hesitated for a moment, "Alright master, I'll come, but this better not get us in trouble." he got up and paused, "Huh, that's weird, It's like we've switched roles."

•••
"Where are we going?" Anakin asked while we were aboard the ship.

"When I saw her, I seemed to notice snow outside her window, and not many places in the galaxy with snow except—"

"Hoth," He completed my sentence.

I glanced at him and nodded. "I suppose there's some sort of Separatist hideout there," I suggested.

"Yeah okay, but when you talked to her, did you seem to mention you were coming to see her?"

"Uh, no,"

"Did she tell you she wanted to see you?"

"No,"

Anakin facepalmed, "When did the master become the student." he said to himself.

A while later we reached hoth. We landed our ship somewhere no one could see it, and no one could see us. I didn't want to catch the attention of anyone, I just wanted to see Alex and leave, preferably with her, but that seemed impossible now.

We quietly walked towards where we saw civilisation, hoping we might be able to find her. We didn't really have a plan.

"Look, Master! Over there!" Anakin pointed to some secure base, it didn't look like normal hoth huts, so that could've been where Alex was.

We travelled to the back of the base, quietly and stealthily, not making a sound.
But of course, Anakin stepped on a branch, and it cracked, making noise. I shushed him. All of a sudden somebody jumped out of nowhere and held Anakin from the back by his neck. Igniting a red lightsaber, keeping it at close length to his neck. He let out a little grunt.

When I got a good look at the person in the shining red light of the lightsaber, it was Alex. She looked about the same as she did before, but had different armour, and black smeared around her eyes.

"What the hell are you two doing here?!" she aggressively confronted, trying not to be too loud.

I held my two hands in-front of me, as if I was dealing with a beast. "Hey, hey, let him go, Alex."

"We— used— to be— Friends!" Anakin tried to mutter out a sentence with her arm tightly around his neck.

"Let him go, Alex!" I demanded. Her eyes laid on me for a moment, everything was very tense, for a moment, I thought she was going to slash his neck right there. But she let him go.

Anakin came back to my side coughing and holding his neck.

"What do you want?! I told you to leave me alone!" She shouted in a whisper.

"No! I'm not going anywhere!" I asserted.

"Get. Out. of this planet." She said through gritted teeth.

"I need to talk to you!" I pushed.

"We've talked enough, now leave before someone sees you!" She said.

I quickly understood how to make her talk to me, "Give me five minutes, or else I'm gonna attract so much attention that everyone sees me here with you." Clearly she was afraid of being seen with the enemy.

She looked at me, hesitant to say no, but what choice did she have? She didn't say anything, and I took that as an approval.

"Anakin, get back to the ship and wait for me," I said, maintaining eye contact with Alex, who was on her guard.

"But, Master—"

"Go!"

Anakin scoffed and went running towards the ship. I cautiously made my way towards Alex. She didn't move away. I could have talked, or asked her questions. But I didn't want to talk anymore.

I moved closer to her, placing my hand on her cheek, she frowned, I moved my face closer, and she pushed me away. But I resisted. "I don't want this." She said, punching my chest, but I held her wrist softly, she could've easily gotten free of it, but she didn't.

"Stop! I know you do!" I said.

"How do you know what I want!" She argued, it reminded me of the old days (barely a month ago).

"Because I can feel you!" I said, a silence set in the atmosphere, I could hear her heartbeat. "I can always feel you. I feel you in my bones, I feel you in my blood, in every nerve, and the day I stop, the day you're gone, my blood will stop rushing through my body." I said.

She pulled me closer and kissed me, passionately, even more passionate than our last kiss. This was pure hunger. She clawed on my hair and pulled me closer, I explored her body with my hand, each and every crevice.

We stopped to catch our breath, our foreheads still touching. "Oh, Obi," She whispered.

"Hm?" I said, closing my eyes.

"Didn't anyone ever teach you not to dance with the devil," The tone of her voice switched.

"What?" I said, but instead of an answer, she kicked me in the gut. A searing pain shot through my body and I fell to the ground. Then she kicked me again.

I tried to not scream out in pain. She walked away from me, saying, "Now go away, and don't you dare come back!"

I tried to get on my knees, holding my stomach. Struggling to get out words, but saying, "The harder you push me away, the more I'll keep coming back."

She turned around, furiously, "Well in that case," She came back and punched me delivering a powerful blow. Blood from my mouth splashed on the white ice. I groaned in pain.

She again walked away from me, but I said, "I'm not going anywhere, you can break all my bones, But I'm staying with you!"

She looked back, It was dark but I could see her eyes coated with tears. "WHAT DON'T YOU GET?!" She screamed, her voice cracking, "I AM NOT THE GIRL YOU FELL IN LOVE WITH! SHE'S GONE!"

"BUT WHY?!" I screamed through my strained voice, "Was it all a lie?" I could feel tears forming in my eyes, I didn't know if they were from the wounds Alex gave me, or from the hurt she was giving me right now.

"No... it wasn't... It wasn't all a lie." She said softly.

"Then what? What happened."

"I..." She tried to get something out but couldn't, she was hiding something. "It's over, Obi Wan, Go home."

This was the final time she turned around and walked away, not looking back once. Every word she said seared through me like a frozen icicle, so much so that it almost made me forget about the cold around me. And the pain I felt wasn't because of a few possible broken bones, but because of the words she said.
