Alex rushed out of the room, her fingers tangled in her hair. Obi Wan followed her. She stopped and looked back at him, breathing heavily.

"This was a bad idea; bad things have been happening ever since I came to save you on that godforsaken planet!" She ranted, her voice almost quivering.

Obi Wan looked at her with concern in his eyes. "I'm sorry," Obi Wan mumbled, looking down.

"What?" she looked at him, "For what? No, it's not your fault. Sorry, I'm just freaking out a bit," she said.

"Maybe you need a break; come on," he held out his hand for Alex to hold. "Let's go."

She took it, not even caring where he was taking her because anywhere with Obi Wan would be good.

They sat in a speeder, Obi Wan flying it. Alex looked out, admiring the beautiful planet of Coruscant. She didn't like to come here because it reminded her of the Republic and, in turn, her parents. But after meeting Obi Wan, Coruscant had taken on a new significance for her.

After a few moments, Obi Wan stopped the speeder. Alex looked up. They seemed to be in the middle of a rainforest, a beautiful lake, the sunlight beaming through the tree leaves, the sounds of birds singing. She didn't know there were any forests on Coruscant.

Obi Wan got out of the speeder and offered Alex his hand, leading her towards the lake.

"What is this place?" She asked.

"I like to come here when I need some peace. I figured you needed peace right now too," he smiled.

As they sat by the water's edge, the worries that had been consuming her began to melt away. The beauty of this hidden natural oasis in the heart of Coruscant had a calming effect. The gentle breeze rustled the leaves, and the rippling water seemed to whisper soothing secrets.

Obi Wan turned to her, and their eyes met. "Alex, in the beginning, it's quite hard to control the Force, but I assure you with time, you'll be a powerful Force user."

Alex gave him a crooked smile. "Yes, but I'm not sure I want to be that."

"Well, we can't really help where life guides us, can we? Where the Force guides us," he said, looking at her lips. She noticed his gaze.

Hesitating for a moment, Alex felt a rush of emotions. She leaned closer to Obi Wan, and they shared a passionate kiss, their feelings and the Force connecting them in that moment. The worries and doubts that had plagued her were momentarily forgotten, replaced by a sense of love and connection.

She pulled away. "How will this work? Us? Love is forbidden for a Jedi," She said, pointing to Obi Wan and herself.

Obi Wan gazed at the lake, thinking for a moment, then looking back at her as if he had a solution. "Attachment is forbidden. Possession is forbidden. Compassion, which I would define as unconditional love, is central to a Jedi's life, so you might say we're encouraged to love."

Alex looked at him dead in the eyes while he smiled stupidly. "That's the biggest load of crap I've ever heard, Obi." He let out a snicker, and Alex tried to fight back her smile.

"You called me Obi," he mumbled.

"Obi Wan is too long and too strange."

He smiled and looked at her for a moment. "I suppose we could keep it a secret." He had a mischievous grin plastered on his face.

They headed back to the Jedi Temple, and before she knew it, she was back in the training room, standing in front of a larger cube this time, without any worry or difficulty, lifting it up in the air, and not exploding it this time.

The Force was running through her veins, and she felt alive. She hadn't felt that way before, as if she were fulfilling a purpose, as if this was where she was meant to be all along.
