Alex found herself uncertain about what to do, but ultimately decided to follow him. As they hurried out of the hall, she unexpectedly ran into Ahsoka.

"What's going on? Disturbance in the Force?" Alex inquired.

"Yes, I'm feeling it too. How did you know?" Ahsoka gave her a scrutinizing look.

"Oh, uh, Obi-Wan told me," Alex stammered. "Should I come with?"

"Yes, but only if you bring a blaster."

"Always," Alex replied, winking at Ahsoka. She then lifted her dress slightly, revealing a blaster strapped to her leg.

They rushed in the direction where Obi-Wan and Anakin had dashed toward. Suddenly, a hand clamped onto Alex's shoulder from behind. It was Obi-Wan, concealed in the shadowed recesses of the hallway. He gestured for her to remain silent.

"Snips, this way!" Anakin's hushed voice beckoned from the opposite end.

Alex whispered, "What's happening?"

"Grievous and his ruthless troops have infiltrated our ranks," Obi-Wan urgently explained. "We must prevent them from reaching the ballroom. I've already alerted the clones to secure it."

"What can I do?" Alex inquired.

"Simply fight," Obi-Wan replied.

The corridor's entrance swung open, and a legion of droids marched in. With a fluid grace, Obi-Wan, Anakin, and Ahsoka emerged from their concealed positions, launching themselves into the fray. As Alex observed their expertise, she couldn't help but wonder if the training at that 'Jedi school' had truly paid off. She felt the familiar surge of anxiety that had gripped her on that distant planet, but this time she steeled herself.

Leaving her cover, Alex unleashed her blaster on every droid in her path. It wasn't as challenging as she'd feared, and she gradually gained confidence in her abilities. In no time, the metallic adversaries lay in pieces.

They then ran towards the direction where they saw Obi-Wan and Anakin disappear. All of a sudden, someone grabbed Alex from behind. It was Obi-Wan, hiding in the corner of the hallway. He gestured for her to stay quiet.

"Snips, come this way!" Anakin whispered from the other side.

"What's going on?" Alex whispered back.

"Grievous and his troops have infiltrated us. We need to stop them before they reach the ballroom. I've already contacted the clones to clear it."

"What can I do?"

"Just fight."

The passageway opened, and a swarm of droids entered. Obi-Wan, Anakin, and Ahsoka left their corners and lunged forward to fight. Seeing them in action made it seem more manageable, and Alex wondered if that 'Jedi school' had truly prepared her. She experienced the same rush of anxiety that had gripped her on that distant planet, but this time she steeled herself.

Leaving her corner, Alex fired her blaster at every droid she encountered. It wasn't as difficult as she had feared, and she gradually gained confidence in her abilities. Before long, the metallic adversaries lay in pieces.

Alex felt rather proud and accomplished, she almost felt eager to fight more droids (and her wish was quite quickly granted).

"That wasn't so hard!" Alex said rather ecstatically, not matching the stressful aura of everyone else in the room.

"Yeah well that wasn't the half of it." Anakin said while walking towards the ballroom.

The slight smile wept off Alex's face as she said "Uh, What?"
