"So, Alex Solari, the woman we took in as our own, who fought with us for months, is now a sith." Mace Windu said. We were all in a conference room, I sat with my head low. I wanted to leave that room, it was excruciating sitting there, listening to Windu explain all his theories. "What if she was a spy all along? How could we have been so reckless." It was becoming unbearable more and more by the minute.
I hadn't said a word the whole time, Anakin was the one filling him in, watching his words. "No Master, We don't know if she was, We don't have many details about the situation."
"Well then get me details Skywalker! Do you have any idea how much risk this is putting us all in?" Mace Windu shouted.
He then dismissed us, I went to another and room sat on a chair with my head in my hands. Anakin followed me to the room. "Master, At least she's alive."
After a long pause I replied, "But at what cost?" The woman I so deeply loved was now in the hands of the sith. And the worst part was that in that ten minute interaction I got no answers. What if she really was a spy all along? Was all of it a lie? Was she turned? What happened after she disappeared?
My head was spinning, I needed to talk to her, I needed to see her somehow. I needed answers. I needed her.
"Anakin, We need to go see her somehow." I said. His eyebrows shot up.
"Are you crazy? We don't even know where she is, and even if we did it would be far too dangerous to go there, I mean you saw what she did to you today, She's clearly not the same person she was before." He explained.
"No, there's still good in her, I felt it, I know."
"Look, even if I agree to this bizarre plan, How will we find her?" He asked.
I pondered upon it for a moment, "The force." I said in realisation. "The force will lead us to her."
"You're starting to sound like a madman Master! The force doesn't work like that!" Anakin said to me as if i were crazy.
"Anakin, I've read about it, You can communicate through the force." I said.
"You know what, I have some— I've got this thing, If you find her location, you'll know where to find me...uhm... bye!" Anakin said as he ran out of my room. He must surely think I'm insane.
I sat on the floor in a meditative position, and closed my eyes, harnessing the force within me. I stayed in that position for a while but nothing happened.
I was about to give up, but then, I opened my eyes, And I saw her. She was standing in a gray room, possibly in a separatist base, with her back turned. She was cleaning up scars on her lower back, She wasn't in the suit I saw today, She looked to be in training clothes.
The hand she was using to clean up blood suddenly stopped moving, and she stood still for a moment, Then she turned around, as if she were looking right at me. Could she see me? I didn't read enough about this to know if she could.
"What are you doing?" She said in a cold voice. I took a while to answer, this felt like a dream, I didn't know what to say.
"Where are you?" Was all I could come up with.
"Obi Wan, whatever it is your doing I suggest you stop it, or i'll make you." She warned.
"No. I'm not letting you go this time." She gave me a disgusted and offended look.
"I'm not yours to let go of!" She shouted as she walked towards me.
"Calm down, Alex." I said.
"STOP CALLING ME THAT!" She screamed.
"Alright, Alright, I'll stop." I said. I didn't know what to say after that, and she kept quiet too, maybe waiting for me to say something. I had so many questions and the only person who could answer them was right in-front of me, but I couldn't get them out, All I wanted to do was stare at her, make up for a whole month.
But she broke the silence, "How are you even doing this? How can I see where you are?"
"I have no idea, I read it in a book, I'm using the force." I replied.
"You do know how reckless it is to talk to the enemy like this, right?" She said, I could hear a bit of Alex's classic snark behind it.
"You're not my enemy, you'll never be. I would probably still adore you if you had your hands around my neck." I said confidently.
"Obi Wan. Leave. Stop it!" She said, "I am not Alex! I am not the woman you fell in love with! She's gone!" She was starting to get worked up.
"Then help me bring her back!" I shouted.
"Never." She said.
"What happened," I asked softly.
"Leave." She said turning around.
"I won't."
She turned back to face me, I saw the same rage in her eyes I saw before, She brought up her hand, and pushed me back into the wall. I opened my eyes and it was gone, I was back in my room. She was gone.
