Obi-Wan was in the middle of dinner with the senators when his com beeped. "Please excuse me," he said as he got up from the table.

It was Anakin. "There's a large open container, and the contents are missing," he informed. "And I still have two men unaccounted for."

"That's not good. Keep things quiet. I'll stay with the senators. You and Alex handle it."

"Got it!"

"Oh, and, Anakin?"

"Yes?"

"She gets carried away when she's angry. Don't let anything happen to her," he said in a whispering tone, feeling a bit embarrassed talking to Anakin about her like this. "I still haven't apologized."

Anakin let out a soft chuckle. "You got it, Master."

"What's he saying?" Alex inquired, trying to eavesdrop on their conversation but couldn't hear Obi-Wan, deeming his whispering to be successful.

"Just mission commands," Anakin lied. Alex looked disappointed.

R2 started leading Alex and Anakin towards a clone trooper that was emerging from the darkness.

"There you are. Redeye, where have you been?" Anakin said.

But something seemed unusual. Alex's grip on her gun tightened, and Anakin's eyes narrowed as he ignited his lightsaber.

Redeye was being held by a killer droid that seemed to be in an insect shape. It threw Redeye's body at them. Anakin attacked it and cut off one of its robotic limbs, which didn't help since it had more.

The droid threw storage boxes at Anakin, making him fall on his back. Alex force-pushed the droid back, and it started to calculate its next move until the clones entered the room and shot at it, almost destroying it.

"The lift!" Alex shouted as the assassin droid climbed up it. Anakin quickly informed Obi-Wan of the droid heading upwards.

The droid made its way into the room filled with Senators, and thankfully, the skilled Jedi, Obi-Wan, quickly destroyed the droid with a few spins of his lightsaber. But this wasn't a victory in the slightest, as tinier assassin droids started climbing out of the holes in the destroyed droid.

They started climbing up the clones, and there were too many to destroy, not to mention their size didn't make it any easier. But with the help of R2, they were able to destroy each last one of them.

"Did I ever tell you about my fear of insects?" Alex said after the dust had settled down.

Obi-Wan stood in the room with one of the little assassin droids in a tray with a glass lid on top. "My theory is our little friend will attack the Duchess and anyone who defends her. Anyone that is, except the traitor who programmed it." Alex stood there patiently.

Obi-Wan took it on a round across the dinner table. It had been jumping around the case when it came close to almost every senator, except one. "It seems to like you, Senator Merrik."

Senator Merrik hit the tray out of Obi-Wan's hand, and the tiny assassin droid was set free.

"Hey!" Alex shouted as she tried to catch the droid but failed. Chaos set loose around the dinner table, but soon enough, Alex was able to crush the droid into pieces using the Force.

However, Obi-Wan wasn't successful in saving the Duchess from the hands of Senator Merrik. He put a gun to her head. "You're coming with me," he said wickedly as he backed out of the room with her.

Obi-Wan and Alex ran out to look for them, while Obi-Wan informed Anakin of Senator Merrik being the traitor. On the other hand, Anakin and the clones themselves had their own problems to take care of—the rest of the assassin droids.

Soon enough, Obi-Wan and Alex ran into Anakin in one of the hallways. "Did you find them?" Alex asked, a bit out of breath.

"No, but I've stationed troopers at every escape pod!"

They got into the lift. "This may not be the time to ask, but did you guys make up?" Anakin asked.

"I don't see how that has any bearing on the situation at hand," Alex yelled at Anakin. His question made her angry not because of the mere timing of it, but because they hadn't.

As they got out of the lift, they saw clone troopers running. It seemed that Merrik had called for reinforcements, which were attacking the ship.

"I'll take care of this, Obi-Wan! You go with your girlfriend!" Anakin said as he ran off.

Obi-Wan blushed. "He meant me, right?" Alex asked.

He rolled his eyes. "Let's go!" They ran the opposite way.
