She raced through the halls of the Jedi Temple, her feet slipping and sliding, creating screeching sounds. Younglings and Jedi stared at her, bewildered by the sight of a woman in a leather jacket sprinting through their most sacred sanctuary. Fortunately, they had grown accustomed to her antics.
She sprinted until she reached the Jedi meeting room, gasping for breath as she flung the door open abruptly. Inside stood Mace Windu, Yoda, and Senator Palpatine. She gulped, her heart racing primarily due to the unexpected audience.
She scanned the room and spotted Anakin. Locking eyes with him, she nearly shouted, "Where is he? Is he all right?"
"I thought you had left. How did you find out?" Anakin replied, a look of confusion on his face.
"Find out what? What happened to him?"
"I'm afraid he's been taken hostage by Dooku," Mace Windu replied.
"What?"
"He embarked on a mission, but midway, his troops were killed, leaving him the sole survivor, and Dooku took him," Anakin Skywalker explained.
"Why aren't we doing anything then?"
"Young lady, there is no 'we.' The council will decide how to rescue Master Obi-Wan," scolded Palpatine.
"What? They'll kill him if we wait any longer!" she protested, her forehead creased. She waited for their response, but they appeared clueless about how to handle someone as unconventional as Alex.
She closed her eyes, whispered under her breath, "Screw this, I'll do it myself," and hastily left the room, hurrying back to her ship. As she made her way, she heard Anakin call her name and turned to face him.
"How can you be alright with this?" she rebuked him.
"Look, I'm not thrilled about it either, Alex, but we can't rush in without a plan. This won't take long. Don't go alone; you'll get killed," he explained.
"No, if I don't do something, he will get killed!" she exclaimed. Anakin had no further response, so she continued on her path.
Anakin stood there in the hallway, contemplating his next move. Should he abandon her and Obi-Wan to their fate, or should he defy the Jedi Council? The answer seemed clear.
"Wait up!" Alex looked around. "I'll get Ahsoka," he sighed. Alex smirked and nodded.

They were aboard The Canary, with Anakin and Ahsoka standing over Alex, who piloted the ship. Anakin broke the silence, saying, "We need a plan."
Alex retorted, "I've got a plan for you: eliminate the droids and rescue Obi-Wan in the process, would ya?"
Ahsoka interjected, "If only it were that easy. This is a massive Separatist base. Going there with just the three of us is basically suicide."
Anakin sighed, "Oh god, What did i agree to?" Ahsoka looked at him with sympathy.
