Q/N - A long chapter to make up for my long absence from CSD. Happy weekend!

It is said that a person's basic personality doesn't change beyond early childhood years. After that point, you can learn, unlearn, relearn a few things and add to your nature but some traits stay, even in dormancy and appear time to time.

The same was the case for ASR and Mrs. ASR who had been famous (rather infamous) for their intense angry fights before their passion was known to be the deepest form of love!

Once they turned parents, they naturally acquired some calmness and learnt to control their anger, at least in front of their kids. One agreement they had made was, if one was angry, the other would keep calm and thus they would automatically avoid any fight...of course, the 'mister' here was needed to work harder at it!

Even so, this was not to have a 100% success rate and there were occasional breaches that led to both getting angry at the same time. It would eventually lead to saying a few things they should not, only to regret later. More so Arnav as he was prone to lose his tongue in anger. But he had been careful to control his words when kids were around. Similarly, Khushi too had learnt to keep patience. However, there were still some exceptions and their very perceptive kids had picked on it...

Dammit? Naah, Jam it!

It began with one small argument between Arnav and Khushi over getting the kids ready for an event they were supposed to attend together. Since, the Raizadas had never hired a nanny, preferring to do everything for their kids themselves, it was a part of mommy-daddy duty.

But the stars were aligned differently today, and they were running late for the event. To add to the irritation, the host who was arnav's old business acquaintance-more like the person who had given him an internship during his MBA days- had himself called twice to ensure the Raizadas were attending! Thus, it had become very important for Arnav as in a way, he was going to meet his first ever-and the only- professional guru!

And the kids had chosen this exact day to throw a tantrum. Together!

So, first Kavish kept refusing to get up from in front of TV leaving his cricket match stating it was 'as important as Papa's business event'! And when somehow Khushi managed to convince him to leave this one in exchange of the next match without her stopping, the shehzaadiya(princesses) were in a mood for a few cuddles than to attend some boring party!!!

Khushi was getting herself annoyed now while Arnav was only shooting angry glares at her, amidst his unsuccessful attempts to convince Aru and Pari to get up from their cozy bed.

"Hamari taraf ghusse se dekhne se accha hai unhe ready kijiye (Instead of looking at me angrily, it would be better if you get the girls ready)." Khushi said which added to arnav's foul mood.

"Oh really? Then instead of wasting time, if you had gotten them ready beforehand itself, we would be on our way by now." He uttered in anger. He had conveniently forgotten that Khushi had been busy in helping him since the afternoon and then getting kids ready, she had not even had a moment of rest for herself. But the bullet was already fired now and as expected, had a matching answer!

Hearing that, a visibly livid Khushi picked up the dresses she had chosen for Aru and Pari and pushed them on Arnav's hands, saying, "Toh humne samay barbaad kiya (So, I wasted time)? Aap ko yaad dila de Arnavji (let me remind you), I have been occupied since the afternoon helping you find the 'perfect outfit' for today's event, then massaging your head because you were having headache in anticipation of meeting your former boss and then getting your son ready for this same event! And in all this, I have not spent a single minute getting ready myself. Accha hua aap ne bata diya I was wasting time! So, ab hum ja rahe hain, aap khud inn dono ko ready kar ke le aana (So, now I am leaving, you get them ready yourself), thik hai?" saying so, she started walking out, herself forgetting her two little ones were watching their parents with wide eyes!
