Q/N - This chapter was meant for festive season, but after some high voltage chapters in my other books, I needed some arshi fluff :D

--*--

28 months old Arohi Singh Raizada was learning alphabets and had her own version of vocabulary (it was invented by none other than Mr. ASR, of course!)

Like A for Arohi, B for Bhaiyya, C for Chachu, D for Dad and then came M for Mamma and P for Pari too!

No matter how much Khushi tried to stop Arnav, he wouldn't budge from teaching his own version of English vocab to their toddler and then Aru's excited Chiku bhaiyya came to his aid too! So, Khushi would leave the trio alone, knowing this was for a short time until Aru started going to play-school, which was a month away.

--*--

It was the day of Teej and Raizada ladies were gathered in the hall for a very important work. Mehndi!

That evening when Arnav stepped in Raizada mansion, a delicious smell of mehendi(henna) reached his nostrils and he involuntarily closed his eyes. Over the last decade, he had come to not only appreciate but rather push Khushi to get mehendi done. And when she would wash it to let the color raise on her palms and the enchanting smell raise more, Arnav would nuzzle those same palms at night, that smell worked as an aphrodisiac for him!

Smiling to himself, he proceeded to the direction from where he heard sounds of giggles and laughter. Sure enough, there were couple of mehendi artists doing henna designs on Payal's hands while it looked like Khushi was just done.

Kids were playing nearby too, with Pari watching the design book with curiosity, Piya and Chiku playing a board game while a sleeping 2-month-old Palash in a bassinet.

And then their overactive baby, Aru sat in Khushi's lap looking at her mehendi

"A for Alohi (Arohi)." Aru said happily, clapping her hands as she noticed a large "A" in her mother's palm.

"Yes shona, A for my Aru baby." Khushi agreed with her daughter, making her happier and Aru give a sloppy kiss to Khushi. Just then Aru noticed Arnav,

"Dada look, A for Alohi." Aru proudly showed him khushi's mehendi clad hands and A on it. Arnav picked Aru from khushi's lap in his arms

"Really princess? Or is it your mamma's name? You know she too has A in her name." Arnav said with a smirk making Aru frown and Khushi blush. She remembered that particular memory from her jiji's wedding,

flashback

"tumne apni mehendi mein A banwaya(you made A in your mehendi)?" he asked circling A in her henna

"nahi...humara matalab haan! hamare naam mein bhi "A" hain(no...I mean yes, my name has A too)." she said confidently, proud of her quick thinking

"tumhare naam mein? really?" he asked in an amused tone. There was a delicious debate in his mind, between teasing her and kissing her!

"ji! Khushi KumAAAri GuptAAA...AAA. suna?" she replied and indicated to her ears, as she stretched 'A' in her middle name and surname.

"Aah! I see." he had said with a knowing smile as even she knew how lame that sounded. But she was never going to give him satisfaction by admitting A was for Arnav. and then again, she hadn't made it deliberately.

end of flashback

So, when he told his daughter A could be Khushi's name, Aru didn't get it but Kavish realized his papa made a mistake.

"No papa, Mamma's name's spelling is K.H.U.S.H.I, there is no A in it. Aru ka naam A se shuru hota hain (Aru's name starts with A)..." Chiku corrected his father and Khushi thought of something to pull Arnav's leg, tease for a tease!

"And Chiku, aapke naam mein bhi A hain beta 'KAvish', aur Pari ke bhi (your name has A in it too and Pari's too). So, this A is for you and Pari too." Khushi replied, knowingly leaving Arnav's name, teasing him more.

"And papa ka bhi." Arnav felt proud of his son and kissing him, for reminding his name had it too!

"But this A is for my babies." Khushi said with a frown, denying that A could have anything to do with a certain Laad governor.

"pakka(sure)?" Arnav asked, with a raised eyebrow and by then Nani, mami and rest of the ladies had gone silent, watching this crazy banter between Arnav and khushi with interest. Khushi blushed at that and decided to somehow send him away for now.

"haan. Abhi aap please jaiye aur Aru ko kuch khilaiye (Yes. Now please go and feed Aru something). She hasn't eaten her dinner yet." she said and that worked, as he wouldn't ever let his kids hungry.

But as he picked Aru, he had started forming a plan in his head. He had to get an answer from Khushi, why she had made an A in her mehendi even when he knew the answer. This was a ritual they followed every time she had mehendi!

--*--

Later that night,

He had Khushi exactly where he wanted, entangled in sheets, her under him, in his strong captive hold from where she can never run away and then he asked,

"So, tell me, what is that A in your mehendi for?" he said hiding his head in her naked shoulder where he rubbed nose first and then placed multiple small bites,

"Aah-psst-stop it Arnavji." she said wriggling in his hold as he continued his sweet torture, now holding her palm and smelling the intoxicating aroma of henna.

"You are close to the answer, just tell me already." he said raising his head, looking in her eyes,

"Your princess already told you, A is for Arohi-" as she said that, he again punished her by nibbling her chin this time, "-aah-Arnavji stop!" she shrieked a bit louder and slapped his arm and he did stop!

"Give me the answer Khushi, tumne apni mehendi mein "A" kyun likhwaya hain (why have you put A in your mehendi)?" he asked running out of patience and mood to play this time

But she was still in playful mood, enjoying riling him up as he was eager to hear exactly for what she always made 'A' in her palms

"Bola toh, it's for aru-" she said biting her cheek, but he got up from the top of her at that.

"Forget it." he said as he sat up, looked for his T-shirt and pulled it on. Khushi realized she had stretched it a bit far.

As he was about to get away from the bed, she hugged him from behind,

"Arnavji"

"It's ok Khushi, I know it is for-" he said trying to remove her hands

"Arnavji. That is what it is for. Aapka naam hamari hatheli par tabse likha hain jab hum iss duniya mein aaye (your name was written in my palms since the time I was born)." came her muffled voice from his back and he turned

"sacchi(really)?" he asked to confirm and she held his face in her hennaed hands, letting the aphrodisiacal smell work its wonder again. He was such a kid sometimes!

"Haan baba sachhi. You are such a jealous laad governor, who gets jeko with his own daughter!" she said as he pulled her for a kiss and lowered her on their mattress again...

It was true though, their names were written in each other's destiny from the time they were born, and will be in their next 7 lifetimes!

A/N – I apologize for no CSD update last week. but I thought you guys wanted a break...

This brings me to another important topic, CSD's length! CSD was originally going to have around 60 chapters, but due to impromptu chapters and requests, now we are looking at 80... which means around 6-7 months of more CSD time. Yay!. BUT if I am going to put that much of writing commitment, I will need your commitment to the story. I have never asked you to wait until we got xyz number of votes, doesn't mean I don't need them. That's my only reward.

Over the last one year, so many of you told me that CSD has become as precious to you as it is to me, it has brought as much happiness to you as to me. So, please help to continue it by staying with the story through your regular votes/reviews. Thank you.
