The sound of happy giggles reached Arnav and Khushi's ears and for the first time in the last 24 hours, Aru-Pari's parents smiled a little. Wondering what had made their ailing babies laugh like that, they tiptoed in their bedroom where now Aru and Pari were shifted. And the scene in front of them made their hearts swell with parental joy!

"Pari, one more. Here!" Aru was indicating towards Kavish's face while pari who held a sketch pen was drawing a 'masterpiece' doodle on chiku's face. Chiku who was not very much pleased when Pari drew something on his nose, still indulged his unwell sisters and when they both laughed seeing another small drawing on their beloved bhaiyya's face, he too smiled.

Khushi's eyes filled with happy tears seeing her elder child taking care of her youngest, while Arnav's had turned moist too.

It had been 1 day since the doctor confirmed that Arohi and Pari Singh Raizada had gotten chickenpox, and their parents had focused their entire attention and energies on these two.

While most of the Raizadas including Arnav and Khushi had had chickenpox at least once in their lives and thus were naturally immune to it so as to be with Aru and Pari but baby Palash had never had it and thus it had become challenging to isolate the people who were eligible to go near the twins as well as Palash and essentially Payal and Aakash. Piya too had been asked to not come near twins. Although she had the disease at the same time when Chiku did a few years ago, but she would need to be near her mother, Payal and thus it was a risk for Palash.

Arnav and Khushi, however, had been constantly present by their daughters' side who were now shifted on their master bed and except the mandatory washroom breaks, they never left their kids' side. Not that they would have even if they were not considered immune to the disease, nothing mattered than their kids' health and currently, getting Aru and Pari back to their perfect health was their top priority!

Almost everyone in both Raizada as well as Gupta families had a ton of experience in dealing with this ailment, so they all suggested many supplementary home medicines along with the prescribed ones by the pediatrician. Arnav, of course, had objected heavily at the beginning, especially when he saw an herbal kadha (decoction) that buaji and khushi's amma suggested and a lep (paste) of neem leaves that his own Nani had brought. He had fought over it since his own childhood when he had this disease, but no one listened to him then, and then when chiku had it, that time as well he tried to use his right as kavish's father, but khushi herself stood against him and he was defeated once again. Although, he had to admit, the neem leaves didn't cause any harm, however whether they had any benefit was still debatable in ASR's books!

But this time, there were many additions it seemed, especially this herbal kadha was too much! It looked horrible and smelled terrible to him! He watched with barely suppressed annoyance on his face as Khushi came with a tray holding two stainless steel bowls containing a warm liquid to feed his darling daughters. Pari was too obedient for her Maa to protest but Arohi had already started squirming and wriggling in her place. However, due to the fever that both she and Pari had running, she couldn't move much. And that was when her Dada came to her rescue!

"Khushi, give that tray to me." he said to Khushi who in her own tension over twins' fever, handed the tray to him innocently. And just the next minute she realized how wrong she was to do that, because he took the tray and went to the washroom, emptying its entire contents in the washbasin!

"Arnavji! Ye aapne kya kiya (what did you just do)?" Khushi asked with a mix of disbelief and anger.

In reply he just shrugged his shoulders. Now that his work was done, he proceeded to go to his daughters.
