After Wuxian finished eating, he noticed he was actually the last one to actually finish, "since when do I finish last?" Wuxian asked, "I normally finish my food before almost everyone else does...what are these guys up to?"

Wuxian glanced at Lan Qiren and Lan Xichen who sat across from him. They just smiled or nodded at him. Wuxian then looked at Wangji, "what's going on?" Wuxian asked.

"We have some things ready for you if you want to take a look at them," Wangji said.

"I appreciate the gesture but you didn't have to do anything for me. Being able to cultivate is probably good enough," Wuxian said.

"We thought you might say that," Lan Xichen said, "come with us."

Lan Xichen stood up with Lan Qiren and waited for Wuxian. Wangji held Wuxian's hand and walked a little bit behind Lan Qiren and Lan Xichen. He was slightly having to pull Wuxian along as Wuxian was feeling nervous and hesitant about what was happening at the moment. The first thing he was brought to was his new workshop. Wuxian stood there looking at the building for a good minute in utter silence. He was just trying to take it all in.

The building was three stories high and even had a lower level under the first floor. As he entered, he saw that he had his own personal library and researched sources. The two floors above were just more books and scrolls. It was the main room right as you stepped inside, and Wuxian had a large spacious desk in the back center of the room to work as he pleases.

To the right of the main library and entrance, Wuxian had a small section with desks to teach students. The room was designed in a circular layout with a teacher's desk set up at the top of the circle. It had a good view of every student that he'd end up teaching.

The lowest level was Wuxian's enchanted room. Though the entire building was enchanted, immune to fire and explosions, the lower level was similar to the Underworld room (Mingshi). Able to research artifacts and craft talismans, charms, and weapons, without worrying about damaging anything...other than himself if he wasn't careful. Wuxian always made sure he was careful though as he knows how dangerous it is to craft charms and talismans.

Wuxian then stepped outside to the backyard of the workshop. Lan Wangji's bunnies were moved there safely beside a bunch of freshly made burrows that the bunnies would use for their homes. There were so many different buds of flowers for the bunnies to nibble on. There was also a nice little lotus pond with a pavilion hanging partially over the water.

His workshop was actually more secluded and the Jingshi was actually close by. Wuxian was already so overwhelmed. He didn't even know what to say. His thoughts were all over the place and he was even crying. He has never been given such a gift like this before and the fact Wangji, his brother, and his uncle all worked together to make this happen for him made it even more amazing and special.

Right now, Wei Wuxian actually felt he didn't deserve such a gift because he has never been accepted like this before. Since he was looking at all this, his thoughts went back to his meal he had earlier. He realized that they had a special meal plan just for him and the clan actually took in a chef that used to live under the Jiangs' care. She stopped after Jiang Cheng became too much of a tyrant like his mother. So the chef was taken in to Cloud Recesses and knew Wei Wuxian's palate well, and even knew how to make Yanli's soup so Wuxian could have it whenever he wanted.

Wuxian turned to Wangji and pulled him into a hug. Wuxian shoved his face into Wangji's shoulder and started crying harder. Wangji wrapped his arms tightly around Wuxian to comfort him. Wangji suspected that this was going to be a bit overwhelming to take in all at once so he was going to do what he could to comfort him and reassure him as much as possible.

"Lan Zhan..." Wuxian sobbed, "it's so much...thank you."

Wangji smiled, "You do not need to thank me. I am just doing what I can to make you more comfortable here at your new home," he said, "I understand that it's a lot but you will be okay."

All Wuxian could do was nod.

"Plus there are more things for you at the Jingshi," Wangji told him.

"More?" Wuxian asked, a bit shocked.

"Mhm," Wangji replied, "let's go."

Lan Xichen and Lan Qiren left the two alone. Wangji was able to handle Wuxian on his own. On the walk over to the Jingshi, Wuxian asked, "why are you doing all this!"

"You grew up not having a claim to much of anything other than Suibian and Chenqing. Even at one point those were taken from you for a good while. You have them back now of course but now that you are with me, I want you to know what it's like living with material items to call yours," Wangji explained.

"But, I never really thought of having anything of my own," Wuxian said.

"Wei Ying, has anyone ever given you a chance for that?" Wangji asked, "aside from your spiritual tools, what is something else you have claimed over?"

"I can name a couple things, like my mother's red ribbon, and you," Wuxian told him.

Wangji stopped walking and looked at Wuxian, "I am yours as you are mine," he said.

"This new core was built off of my parents' old cores," Wuxian explained, "Lan An knows how to get into contact with my grandmother Baoshan Sanren. She told him that after finding my parents' bodies, their cores were still intact long enough for her to extract them and hold on to them. She found a way to fuse the two and that knew core is now mine...so it may have been my parents core, but it's now mine."

"That's amazing," Wangji said, "how was your training otherwise?"

"Good...he helped me get over my fear of flying on my sword," Wuxian said, "and I can still apparently see and speak to spirits. Lan An warned me that I may come across spirits from my past so I have to learn to face them gain someday...and I also asked Lan An if I'd ever see Baoshan and he said she will eventually."

"Well, in due time," Wangji said, "now, why don't I show you what I did to the Jingshi?"

"Sure," Wuxian agreed.
