After speaking with Baoshan, Wangji and Wuxian went to finish with their disciples training before going on a trip walk. Wangji and Wuxian needed a little time alone to talk about the news they received, "with this new information, do you think Haishi will become a target?" Wuxian asked.

Wangji took Wuxian's hand as the walked and held him closer to comfort him, "even if so, you and I will protect her. We are here to train too. Xie Lian is willing to help with our disciples while we train."

Wuxian nodded, "we should send a private message to your brother and Shufu. They need to know this information. Maybe they have some more information on Haishi in their archives."

"Mnn, I will," Wangji said, "why not also ask Xie Lian? He is a god, I'm sure he has a way to get information."

Wuxian nodded, "perhaps he and Hua Cheng will know how to protect her more," he said. As they walked, Wuxian caught a glimpse of something silver and small. Wuxian chuckled, "Hua Cheng, I saw that little butterfly of yours. You can come out."

Hua Cheng did appear. He hopped down from a nearby tree, "I don't mean to listen in but I was resting in that tree when I heard you coming this way. The butterfly was to get your attention anyway."

"So you heard us talking about Haishi," Wuxian said.

"A small amount," Hua Cheng said, "did Baoshan find out anything about her?"

Wuxian nodded, "I know you and Xie Lian can probably get more information and if you could that would be helpful. Baoshan found out that Haishi is an angel. Meaning her biological parents are both gods. So Haishi is a lot more powerful and special than we even thought."

Hua Cheng nodded, "that is curious,0 he said, "and she was in a sect of all places?"

"Yes, that is why we need more information," Wuxian said, "there has to be a reason why Haishi is under Cloud Recesses protection."

"I will speak with Gege about it," Hua Cheng said, "let's go now."

Wuxian and Wangji nodded and followed him. They called for Xie Lian and Baoshan so they could all sit down to talk, "I am guessing this is on Haishi?" Baoshan asked.

"It is," Wuxian said, "I am beginning to wonder if she is linked to this current situation with the beast that's on the loose."

"It could be a possibility," Baoshan said.

"San Lang informed me on the matter and I reached out to Ling Wen back at the Heavenly Palace. She is our top civil god. San Lang also has his people looking too. From what I gathered I was even more shocked because Ling Wen said my master was involved in placing Haishi in Gusu."

"If your master was involved, then you know who is also involved," Hua Cheng said.

"Ling Wen has someone reaching out to him now to confirm," Xie Lian said.

Just as he spoke, a woman dressed in all black appeared, "Ling Wen, Why did you come personally?" Xie Lian asked.

"I was hoping that I wouldn't ever have to share the details but you have to understand that it happened and it cannot be undone. If others found out, Haishi would be targeted for the rest of her life. I wanted to keep her but I knew that she couldn't be with me, especially when I am still dealing with my sentence for being under the Brocade immortals control and helping Jun Wu," Ling Wen said.
