To say that Wuxian was nervous was an understatement. He was getting married today and he was very happy, but his nerves were getting the best of him. He was standing there in his workshop and looked into a mirror. He had on his red hanfu robes. The robes that he had on were his wedding robes. He loved them and he never expected it to look so nice.

They were a nice red, and he had gold accents throughout. He had nine pedal lotuses on his robes to indicate that he was once from the Jiang sect but there were swirls of gold embroidery that made him think of the clouds that would replace the flowers. His belt of sash was gold and had a fiery stone at the center. He was so happy and excited.

"You look amazing," he heard someone say

"You look amazing," he heard someone say.

Wuxian turned to see Jiang Cheng standing there. Out of everyone he knew, he didn't expect someone like Jiang Cheng to make that kind of comment about him, "ugh?" Wuxian was at a loss of what to say for once.

"It's alright, it took a lot out of me to say that," Jiang Cheng said.

Wuxian laughed, "there is the Jiang Cheng I know," he said.

"I got permission to bring you over," Jiang Cheng said, "are you okay with that?"

Wuxian nodded, "you have no idea how much it means to me that you are here."

"I said we would try to work things out and have a better relationship," Jiang Cheng said.

Wuxian nodded, "just, thank you."

Jiang Cheng nodded, "let's go, the ceremony is about to start."

Wuxian was then led by Jiang Cheng. He did not expect that having him at his wedding would actually mean so much to him. As much as the two had such a messy past, he would always push that aside for family. No matter what. Jiang Cheng knew that too, and he was not going to misuse Wuxian's trust again.

(I hope you don't mind me skipping the ceremony because I usually struggle with writing them. But the next is the mature content I'm sure you are all waiting for)

The night was still fairly young by the time Wangji and Wuxian were inside their bridal chamber. The room was covered in red, the bed was large and had silk red sheets and a thick red comforter with gold stitching. The pillows were gold with red stitching, one had a phoenix while the other had a dragon. The dragon represents the husband while the phoenix represents the bride. There were silky, lace drapes that flowed over the bedsides. The room was filled with red candles. Two candles stuck out most at the left side to the bridal chamber. They were called Zingxihome candles. The candles are a sign of good luck, and said to bring magic and spirit to the ceremony.
