Wei Wuxian was doing better the following morning. After that moment with Lan Qiren, he suddenly began to realize that he won that old man's favor. Even though it was painful to relive, it was worth empathy. Also, Wangji did his part and satisfied him very well later that night.
It was mid-morning and Wangji and Wuxian were getting ready to head to Feng Shui (Wuxian's workshop). They had lessons today and they were splitting time today. Lecture for the first half, and activity for the second half. Lan Sizhui stopped by to meet with them as well as Biyu as she was still staying at the Jingshi.
"Lan Zhan, I need to talk to you for a moment," Wuxian said and pulled him to their bedroom and applied the privacy barrier.
"Are you wanting me already?" Wangji asked with a smile, "did you not get enough last night?"
Wuxian smiled, "first of all, I can never get enough of you. If I lose my ability to walk because of it I'm all for it, but second, it's not what I wanted to talk about," Lan Wangji smiling was always Wuxian's favorite. He could get lost in this man's face, his love, his heart, but he had to get out what he was concerned about, "Iroh (the Qilin) will be here in a couple days and we have yet to figure out what we will do with our six disciples. I don't think they should just go back to the regular classes as they would be a bit behind or confused about the material," Wuxian said.
"Hmm, maybe we can write up some lessons and ask Xiongzhang to teach them?" Wangji suggested.
"Your brother has a sect to run," Wuxian said, "I don't think it's wise to just dump our disciples on him."
"Can you find some way to reach Iroh again before he arrives?" Wangji asked.
"I could try, why?" Wuxian questioned.
"It's a big ask, but ask him if the disciples can accompany us. To help us out, as Wen Ning to come too," Wangji suggested.
"I suppose I could ask...that's a lot to ask of him because it's my grandmother he is taking us to," Wuxian said.
"These disciples are our responsibility. You are correct in that we can't just let them do nothing for however long we are away," Wangji said.
"Why is this so hard?" Wuxian asked with a pouting lip.
Wangji's smile grew at his husband's face, "You are a smart man, Wei Ying, I am here to help you. You know that."
"Yeah," Wuxian said.
Wangji lightly grabbed Wuxian's face and kissed him. It was definitely something Wuxian needed, "we will figure it out, okay" Wangji asked after pulling away.
"Okay," Wuxian replied.
Wuxian pulled Wangji back in to kiss him. He wanted more. Wangji complied and pulled Wuxian closer to him, as he wrapped his arms around him. Wuxian's arms draped around Wangji's shoulders. Wuxian pulled back for a moment, "how quick can you be?" Wuxian asked.
Wangji chuckled and shoved Wuxian down onto the bed. All Wangji had to do was open Wuxian's robes and remove his trousers. Wangji took his husband and it didn't take long for them to get out their desires. After they finished, they were soon dressed and headed to Wuxian's workshop.
"Since we have time, I will try to see if I can get into the spirit world again," Wuxian said.
Wangji nodded, "I'll be here to guard you."
"I love you," Wuxian told him.
"Mnn, I love Wei Ying too," he said.
Wuxian sat down in lotus position and began to meditate. He felt this was the best way into trying to cross over. Turns out, he was correct. His soul was brought to the spirit world while his body remained with Wangji.
"It worked," Wuxian said to himself.
"Young Master," a voice said.
Wuxian turned and saw the Qilin, "Iroh, I was actually looking for you."
"I could sense that you needed to speak with me," Iroh said.
"I know it's a big ask, but my husband and I have six disciples that we teach and we can't just leave them behind...would Baoshan be okay with them coming?" Wuxian asked.
"Of course, and bring your ghost friend too," Iroh said, "Baoshan has plenty of things for your disciples to do while you and your husband do what you are going to her for."
"Exactly what is that?" Wuxian asked.
"You cannot fight what is coming as just a mere cultivator. You need all the strength you can get," Iroh said.
"Is this thing we are fighting a spirit?" Wuxian asked.
"This is a strong resentful being. Created by someone who never meant for it to get out of control. The creator is a ghost king and they only meant to make this being to help protect someone he loves. He has some people who will help him but you are someone who isn't involved with this being and will do what it takes to keep the world safe," Iroh explained.
"So, this ghost king, I will meet him?" Wuxian asked.
"Yes, he is actually kind and never meant for things to get like this. He reached out to some people and you are one of those people. You actually met him before...during your thirteen years here," Iroh explained.
"How come I don't remember?" Wuxian asked.
"After being brought back from the dead, your memory of this place was lost. It will come back as some of that time here was not pleasant for you. Your soul was almost lost if not for this ghost king," Iroh said, "I have to go, and you need to prepare your disciples and young ghost friend."
"Thank you, I have more questions but I'm sure I will get them eventually," Wuxian said.
"You will," Iroh said and bowed his head before walking off.
Wuxian managed to pull himself back to the real world. Wangji was sitting beside him waiting patiently. Lan Xichen and Lan Qiren had just entered not long ago, "how long was I out?" Wuxian asked.
"Only for half an hour," Wangji answered, "did you find Iroh?"
"We have permission to bring them and Wen Ning," Wuxian said, "and I got some more information about this dark being. I need more context but apparently a ghost king created this being to help save or protect someone he loves. He never meant for the being to lose control."
"It's something," Lan Xichen said, "and why did you need permission? Permission for what?"
"We needed to find out what to do with our disciples while Wei Ying and I are away," Wangji answered.
"So got permission to take the six with you?" Lan Qiren asked.
"Yes, and Wen Ning," Wuxian said.
"We did actually come here to ask about this," Lan Qiren said, "I don't see why they can't go with you."
"We will tell them during class today," Wuxian said.
"Alright," Lan Xichen said.

Side Note:
I have decided to make this a crossover as it would make the story more interesting. So I will be adding Heaven's Officials Blessing. I have not decided yet but as I finally managed to finish Scum Villain Self-Saving System, I may add them into the mix as well. I have yet to decide but It will more than likely happen. I hope you are all enjoying the story so far.
