"Alright, you two. Wake up before I start screaming." Wooyoung stood at the end of the bed, holding onto the covers. I swear, if he rips them off of us, there will in fact be another fight in this apartment.
"Wooyoungie, please." I whispered. "The baby is sleeping." He rolled his eyes as I held my little blonde close. Yes, my early Christmas present was blonde hair and I couldn't be more thankful. He looks beautiful no matter what, but there's no denying it's his color.
"He'll live. We have presents to open downstairs and then we all need to get ready to leave."
"Oh shit, Merry Christmas." I laughed, now realizing why he was waking us up. "Is the kitten here?" I whispered.
"She's here, yeah. She's been with Minho and he almost didn't give her back. So I told him that's a no go since he has three male cats." Wooyoung smiled, letting go of the sheets. "Just try to be downstairs within twenty minutes."
"Yeah, no problem." I nodded, then he left. "Angel, wake up." I whispered, tracing my fingers across Felix's freckles. He lightly groaned and stayed still. "I know, baby, I know it's early. But it's Christmas." A small innocent smile appeared on his lips, warming my heart. "Love you." I kissed his forehead and got out of bed, knowing what'll happen next.
"Jinnie." He whined instantly, holding his arm in the air.
Yes, exactly that.
"Felix, we gotta open presents downstairs and then we need to get ready to go to your parent's house."
"Oh!" Felix shot his head up. "Chan is spending Christmas with my family since he can't go back to Australia." Then dropped his head back down.
"Really? Why do I feel like Minho would hate him?"
Felix shook his head. "He's like your Jungkook to Minho. You know my brother, he likes the dominant leader type." He smiled, finally getting out of bed. "But I think the big reason is because he takes care of Jisung when they're on tour and stuff. His anxiety has been iffy ever since the airport incident and Chan was there for him. That meant a lot to Minho so he really respects him."
"That's good to know." I nodded, wrapping my arms around his waist. "It's always important to protect the little ones." Obviously I was referring to Felix, but he clearly did not agree judging by the face he was making. "No? You don't agree?"
"I'm the one protecting you these days, just saying." He shrugged with a smart ass expression.
"Give me a break, you cripple." I laughed, pointing at the cast on his arm. Luckily, he should be healed in a couple more weeks.
"Means nothing." He shook his head.
"Yeah, okay." I picked him up and carried him to the bathroom. "See, you like being taken care of." He had the biggest smile on his face as he nodded. I set him down on the sink counter and stood in between his legs. He pushed his lips out for a kiss, but I put a toothbrush in his hand instead. "That first." He gave me a nasty side eye and snatched the toothpaste from me. "The faster you get ready, you faster you'll see the kitten." His eyes widened which led to some aggressive brushing. "Felix, relax," I laughed, "you're gonna make your gums bleed." Once he finished, he spit in the sink and pushed his lips out dramatically with his eyes squeezed shut. "So needy." I smiled, washing off my toothbrush. He grabbed the sides of his face and pressed my lips to his.
"Felix, Hyunjin!" Wooyoung shouted, coming up the stairs. "Oh, there you are." He said much calmer, finding us making out in the bathroom. "I thought you guys were still sleeping."
"This is a part of our morning routine, almost done." Felix said, closing the bathroom door. But Wooyoung put his foot in the way so it wouldn't close completely.
