"Can you come now?" Judging by the fact that Felix called me instead of FaceTime, I knew he was too upset to show his face. Getting the heads up from Wooyoung was also helpful.

"Send me the hotel address, I'll leave now. Do you want me to stay the night?"

"Please."

I packed a small bag of essentials, put food and water in Kkami's bowls, then left. Felix hadn't said anything the entire time I was getting ready to leave, but I really hope he wasn't crying. He hasn't told me what happened yet so I'm sure he's curious as to why I haven't questioned it.

Luckily, the hotel was only a little over an hour away. But I wouldn't have complained if the drive was three or four, I just wanted to see him.

"I'll be there soon, angel. Want me to stay on the phone?"

"No, it's okay. I think I'm gonna call Minho real quick."

"Okay." I sighed, nervous this would result in a war between Minho and Wooyoung. Although it's unlikely, it's never impossible. "Love you."

"Love you too."

Once he hung up the phone, I dramatically whined and frowned. Why must there always be an issue? Can't we just have peace?

"Wooyoungie." I thought it would be best to give him a call.

"Yeah." He sounded a bit out of breath, I could only assume I interrupted something.

"I'm going over to see Felix right now. I just got off the phone with him."

"Did he sound upset?" Wooyoung seemed nervous, but I thought the answer was obvious.

"Well, yeah."

"What'd he say about it?"

"He doesn't know I know. He just asked me to come to the hotel and stay the night."

"Don't you have work tomorrow?"

"I already texted Seulgi and gave her a heads up that I might be late. You know I'm not passing up a chance to see him."

"I know." He sighed. "Jinnie, I'm really sorry."

"You didn't do anything wrong, you just told him what they told you. This isn't fair to either of you."

"Hyunjin, I'm done." He was serious, I could tell. That would probably be what I was interrupting. I know how badly San wanted Wooyoung to move on and find a different career. He knows how beautiful his husband is, that was never the issue. But he's had a really hard time sitting back and watching Wooyoung get mistreated time and time again.

"Like forever?"

"Forever. I have to be."

I wanted to ask questions, but I also didn't want to throw San under the bus.

"What made you finally decide?"

"We talked about it, me and San. Someone had a lot to say." I guess that answers my question. "Not only that, but I know myself well. I would've compared myself to Felix for the rest of my career and it would've torn me apart." I hated that he felt that way. Felix and Wooyoung are both so beautiful and special in their own ways. "I would've gone through with getting work done if it meant I'd feel appreciated, and if you look at it from an outside perspective, that's just sad."

I started to wonder if Felix ever hid things from me because he didn't want me to worry. Ever since the day he was asked to do a nude photoshoot, he's kept details scarce. He had done multiple shoots after that, but nothing seemed too concerning. Then again, how would I know if I'm only looking at a picture?
