Stressful Preparations

I've been at the wedding venue all morning to make sure everything was perfect. I don't think 'stressed' is a strong enough word to use to describe how I'm currently feeling.

"Does it look pastel goth? I feel like this looks goth."

"Goth and gay mix well, you're fine. Even still, there's nothing goth about this." Hongjoong assured. I was beyond grateful that he was willing to come early and help me organize everything before people arrive.

"But they're not goth."

"They're broken souls, they're close to it."

Good thing I took two packs of tissues with me because I just went through the first. I was drenched in sweat because my nerves were practically ripping me apart.

"Someone else needs to plan my wedding, I can never do this again. Why do you enjoy this?"

"Hyunjin, stop freaking out. Everything looks perfect."

"Do you have a cigarette on you? I'm going to have a breakdown." Fanning my face didn't help much, I was still melting.

"Hyunjin." Hongjoong smiled, holding onto my arms. "You're okay, I promise. They're going to love it."

"Sorry I'm late!" Felix came sprinting over to us. He's been dealing with the arrangements at the reception hall. At first, Wooyoung wanted him and I to work together, but he's been so busy that I basically had to do everything myself. I'm glad he's here now though, that was a huge help.

"How does it look?" I asked nervously.

"It looks perfect." He looked around and approvingly nodded. "Everything looks pretty perfect here too." He furrowed his eyebrows, seeming to notice something very important. "You planned this for months."

"Well, yes." I nodded.

"No, no." He shook his head. "The flowers. They're the same ones you painted in their apartment." He smiled brightly, realizing what I had done.

"Hopefully they notice too."

"That's so cute." Hongjoong whined, pressing his hand on his heart.

"I'm here." Yeosang waved and smiled sweetly. "I'm here."

"So cute." Felix shook his head.

"Adorable." I agreed.

One night, Felix and I had a conversation about all our friends and one of the many things we agreed on was that Yeosang has always been, and always will be, the pure, sweet one in our group. If a person doesn't like Yeosang, I'd recommend seeking professional help.

"I feel like him and Winter are mine and Seonghwa's kids." Hongjoong was very much on the same page as us. "Hey, you." He smiled, giving Yeosang a hug once he caught up to us. "Where's Winter?"

"At Ms. Jung's house with the other girls getting ready." Yeosang blushed. "She called me earlier. She looks really pretty."

Felix and I gave each other a quick glance, having the same thing in mind. Yeosang loves that girl with all his heart. He buys her flowers every Friday; he calls it 'Flower Friday' actually. On the bouquet, he adds a handwritten note along with it to tell her just how much he loves her. That's one of the many things he does. What they have is beautiful and I hope it lasts a lifetime.

"People should be getting here soon." I sighed, feeling like I haven't done enough to make this place look flawless.

"San's stressing in the bathroom." Yeosang said.

"Don't you think you should go make sure he's okay?" I laughed, completely baffled.

"Nah." He shrugged and scrunched his nose. "Minho is with him."
