Today is a very, very special day. It's the day Seonghwa and Hongjoong are officially getting married.

Now that Hongjoong works in the fashion industry, his pay grade is higher than it used to be. Which means the budget for this wedding was astronomical. But I expect nothing less from the couple.

I've had San and Wooyoung's wedding all figured out too. In fact, we just sent out the invitations. Never have I ever been so grateful that Wooyoung consistently told me his fantasies for three years straight. That included a lot of wedding ones so I didn't need to think very hard.

"Mine needs to be better than this, I'm intimidated." Wooyoung whispered in my ear.

"Is it possible for you to be happy for our friends?" I teased.

"Oh, I'm very happy. I just need to have the greatest wedding in history."

"And you will." I assured.

I forgot I wasn't sitting with everyone else during the ceremony because I was one of Hongjoong's groomsmen. Each of them only had two. I don't think I've ever seen them interact with a woman so that would also explain that. For Hongjoong, it was me and Jungkook. For Seonghwa, it was Minho and Mingi.

Hongjoong and I had some crazy times in New York City. I'm very quick to associate the place with nothing but negativity, but that isn't the full truth. I think my favorite memory of us was when we went birthday gift shopping for Seonghwa.

"Seonghwa is so pure, I have no idea why you think sex toys will be a good gift for him." Hongjoong stared at me in disbelief as we walked around the city.

"What, do you guys not explore?"

"Do you? Actually, never mind. Don't you dare answer that question because I already know."

We, or more like he, has been on a mission since five in the afternoon. School was out for the both of us and Seonghwa was making dinner at home. Hongjoong was fully confident that he'd find a gift for his boyfriend by tonight, but things weren't looking so great.

"I'm really trying to think pure minded here. What about a play?"

"We go all the time for date night, I need something else."

"You guys have a scheduled date night? That's so cute." I smiled.

Being closer to the couple in recent months, I've realized how different they are compared to San and Wooyoung. I can't say me and Felix or Minho and Jisung because they've just crashed and burned. These are the only ones left standing. But while the likes of San and Wooyoung are more flirtatious and fun loving, Seonghwa and Hongjoong are already like a married couple that's been together for decades. They're the type to bring one soup if the other gets sick or get happy when one vacuums like old men. They're simple in the purest form.

"It's very important to us. You're never around to check if my outfit is good though." I knew what he was getting at. It's the late night partying that he's referring to. I know it's a bit excessive, but I just like to have fun. I've invited him multiple times, but he says he isn't interested in 'my type of fun' so I just go alone.

"I'll made it a point, I promise."

"You said that last time." He sadly smiled, trying not to show how hurt he was by my incompetence.

"Did I really?" I was disappointed in myself that I couldn't be there for him. Sometimes I wonder if he ever thinks I'm a bad friend. I wouldn't blame him.
