Wooyoung's POV:

"So do we tell Hyunjin that Felix already bought a ring for him?" That was the first thing I asked once Hyunjin dropped San and I back home.

"Absolutely not." San laughed, finding this situation equally as amusing. "I really thought they were going to wait a couple years."

"Oh, not me." I shook my head. "Felix told me the same day he got the apartment."

"You think he'll be happy?" Felix was nervous as we walked through the new apartment he had bought for him and Hyunjin.

"Duh. This place is perfect."

I've come to the decision that Hyunjin is capable of taking care of himself, as well as Felix. It'll be a sad goodbye, but I'm proud of how far he's come.

Felix sat on the ground and laid flat in the empty space - which will be the living room. I chose to join him and stared at the ceiling.

"Can I talk to you about something?"

"Yeah."

"I really love him."

"I know you do."

"I want to spend the rest of my life with him." I slowly sat up and looked at him, trying to figure out where he was going with this. "I feel like I'm at a point in my life where everything is taking the next step, everything is moving forward. So I think my relationship with Hyunjin needs to be a part of that."

"Do you not think getting your own apartment is taking that next step?"

"I do." He nodded. "But I also know what I want."

"And that's to ask Hyunjin to marry you."

"Correct."

I sighed, not completely opposed to the idea, but I just need to make sure he knows just what that entails.

"I hope you realize how serious marriage is, especially when it comes to marrying someone like Hyunjin."

"What's that supposed to mean?"

I realized I didn't word that in the best way, but I hope he'll understand where I'm coming from.

"I believe that your love for each other," I paused, making sure I say the right thing, "is strong enough for marriage, yes. I know that you two are meant to be together, that's non debatable. However," this is the tricky part, "are you sure he's in a mental state where he can be a reliable, trustworthy husband? If you got engaged, I feel like he should be at a point where the possibility of relapsing is nonexistent. I get that your life is moving forward, but is his?"

Felix stayed silent, taking in what I said before answering. I want nothing but the best for them, but they both need to be at an equal level individually before taking that step.

Still without saying anything, he sat up and tossed me a small box. I faintly gasped, automatically knowing what it was.

"I'll hold off." Felix said. "But I have it."

The ring was perfect for Hyunjin. It was much different from mine which is how it should be. While I like a more flashy look, he likes something more simple.

"It's beautiful." I gave it back to him and laid down. "But I want you to take what I said into consideration. He needs to be a man, not a boy. I hope you'll be able to see when that happens. Don't marry someone who can't take care of themselves."
