"Merry Christmas!" Yeonjun shouted, keeping a gentle hold on Yeji's waist.

Unsurprisingly, Felix and I were a little late. With all those presents we bought each other, along with some extra special holiday games if you catch my drift, we took a little longer than expected. But at least we're here now with tons of gifts, along with the dozens of desserts Felix and Wooyoung baked together.

I was excited for this. Having Christmas with my family should be interesting. I'm expecting something bad to happen at least once so I'm prepared.

"Sorry we're late." I smiled and waved.

"Yeah, took you long enough." Yeonjun sassed.

"Relax. Now help me."

Yeji left her boyfriend's side and took some gifts out of my hands to put under the tree while Yeonjun lended Felix a hand.

"Your dad is with my dad in the living room."

"Has he been waiting for me?" I asked, following behind her to their massive Christmas tree. It's about ten times the size of ours at home. Then again, I'm pretty positive everyone has a bigger tree than me and Felix.

"Yeah." She answered quietly after putting our gifts with the others. "He's nervous to see Felix."

"Does he think he'll get the cold shoulder or something?"

Felix and I talked about it before we came here. To him, my dad has a clean slate. That was relieving to hear since I know Wooyoung doesn't feel that way. He's trying to accept that we have a good relationship now, but it's hard for him since he's seen so much happen between me and my parents way before Felix came into the picture.

"That, and he's afraid he'll say something stupid. But he's been really nice to me so I doubt anything bad will happen."

"I'm expecting at least one thing, but I'm also a bit of a pessimist when it comes to holidays. Especially after the disaster at his family's house last Christmas."

"What happened last year?"

"Chan blurted out that I used to have a crush on him in front of Felix so he got really upset." I rolled my eyes, not being too fond of the memory.

Yeji shook her head, understanding my frustration. "Chan is one of those people who will say whatever and mean no harm, but it does a lot of damage." I've never seen them speak to each other so I wasn't necessarily sure how she knew that. She wasn't wrong though; spot on actually. "Chaeryeong told me."

"Oh." I slowly said, nodding my head. That would make sense considering she's dating Chan's best friend.

I knew Felix was in the kitchen with my aunt so I didn't need to introduce him. He's always been a social butterfly.

"Hey." My aunt beamed, walking over and giving me a hug. "Good to see you, Merry Christmas."

"Merry Christmas." I smiled.

"Hyunjin!"

"Grandpa?" I laughed, not expecting him to be so cheery.

"You're a giant, oh my goodness. Come here and give me a hug." I found it funny how he was inches taller than me. I'm considered to be on the shorter side in my family according to my dad. Yeji is pretty tall for a girl too. It's a Hwang thing.

"It's good to see you." It's been a long time since I've seen my grandparents. I may have been 10 or 11 years old, which was well over a decade ago.

"Grandpa," Yeji spoke, "this is Felix." I'm sure she knew I was nervous to introduce him so I was grateful for her help. "Hyunjin's fiance."
