"Baby, what time is it?" I groaned, not wanting to open my eyes to look at the alarm. "Angel, wake up." I shook him lightly.

"You're so loud." Judging by his voice, he must've just woken up.

"Felix, shut the damn thing off before I throw it." The constant beeping was giving me a headache.

"Shit, we gotta get up!" He shut the alarm off and hopped out of bed.

"Can you just tell me the damn time?" I whined.

"It's 7am. Go wake Hwayoung up."

"She's awake." I continued to whine, not wanting to leave the bed. But to my dismay, the sheets were pulled right off me. "Why do you want me to suffer?"

"Do you want your daughter to miss school?"

I groaned and got out of bed, sluggishly walking to our 6 year old's room.

"Hwa, honey." I yawned. "You almost ready?" I sighed, knowing exactly what she was doing. This happens every single morning. "Hwayoung, I'm not gonna tickle you just so you get out of bed."

"Dad does." She mumbled, hiding underneath her blankets.

"No, he doesn't." I smiled, knowing she only does this with me. I got on my knees to be at her height and started to gently poke her through the sheets. "Are you just not gonna get up?" I continued to smile, seeing the expressive head shake. "Alright." I sighed and started to tickle her. "What about now?" I don't think she could hear me over her high pitched laughter. "Now?" I stopped and lowered the blankets so I could finally see her face. "There's my girl." I kissed her forehead and picked her up in my arms. "I knew you'd already be dressed. Did you brush your teeth too?" She nodded. "Oh, I don't think you did." She started to laugh once she had been caught. Now onto the next step in our daily routine.

I carried her into our bathroom and put her down on the step stool so she could see herself in the mirror. She likes to brush her teeth with me and Felix every morning.

"Morning, flower." Felix said to our daughter, still with a toothbrush in his mouth.

When we were looking for baby names, we weren't looking for anything specific. I was honestly willing to just let Felix pick. But then I stumbled upon the name, Hwayoung, and I never wanted to part with it. It means beautiful flower.

"Told you she'd be dressed." I said to my husband.

Ten years have passed since we got married. The only things that have really happened since then has been a lot of weddings and a lot of babies. I kept waiting for something bad to happen, because I figured it was just my luck, but it never came. I've truly had the best life possible.

"How do you always know?"

"Because her and Bora always match."

Choi Bora, the most obnoxious little girl in all of Seoul. While Felix and I went with adoption, San and Wooyoung went with surrogacy. Not only does she look like her parents, but she also acts like them. She's loud and clingy, but I'll always love her to death because she has a habit of protecting our daughter on the playground at school. While Bora is more on the boisterous side, Hwayoung is very quiet but incredibly intelligent.

"Oh, right." He nodded, finishing up with his own routine.

Felix is a big time actor who's starred in so many movies, I can't keep count anymore. I went from being a curator's assistant to a curator so I've definitely been busy too. But I'm glad the hours are the same as Hwayoung's. By the time school is out, I'm already outside to pick her and Bora up.

Picking San and Wooyoung's daughter up from school is a blessing for them. That would be because of little Joonwoo. While Felix and I were okay with just the one, they definitely weren't. So while San still works at the gym as a manager, Wooyoung has put all his time into his 3 year old son.
