all i wanted was reassurance
every time i bring up her
it just means that i want to hear you say that it's me that you love
that even though you're with her,
you think of me.
even though you're with her warmth, you want mine.
it's not like i don't trust you
or that i don't trust her
it's just that
instead of denying it,
you defend her
you defend yourself
or you
don't
say
anything
at
all
why?
color me dark red as i can't stand on my ground
as your girl
how can i? when i don't even know why i am your girl
...
I don't expect you to be the same as me, I'm just wondering why a simple "i love you" can't get out of your mouth
is it too much to ask for?
it takes one i love you from you to turn a blind eye on everything else
i can close my eyes, let you lead me every where you want for as many times you like
all i need is a simple i love you
a simple "ily" scribbled in my heart
and I'll treasure it forever,
I'll leave it there, and never let anyone replace it
never let anyone erase it
is it too much to plead for?
i don't care about anything else
even if begging becomes a habit
even if begging means loosing
if it's the only thing that makes you satisfied
if it's the only way to make you stay,
I'll say it as many times as i need to
