" Please don't get upset over it. Don't leave."
" I am not upset. I am just leaving to prepare breakfast."
" No. I'll make it. You just stay here. I'll quickly take a bath."
" It's not a big deal. Let me make breakfast until you get ready."
" No. Let's make it together instead. And why didn't you dry your hair? What if you get sick? You were already feeling sick tomorrow. You fainted. It's not a small thing. Please don't do this with your health."
" ...Alright." Alice said a dazed look.
" What's wrong?"
" Nothing."
" Wait for me. I'll brush my teeth and bring the hair dryer. I'll help you dey your hair."
Stella got up and went to the bathroom. She was back in five minutes with the hairdryer. She made Alice sit on the chair in front of the dressing table and dried her hair.
While she was focused on drying her hair, Alice stared at her through the mirror. She looked at Stella and the events of past replayed in her mind. They were together in college and they had the best memories of that time. These were the small loving things they would do for each other. They had many such memories. Stella was so loving. It was like nothing existed in her eyes other than her.
Stella dried her hair and even combed them. After she was finished, she bent down and gave her a peck on the cheek. Then she looked at her with a smile in the mirror and she said.
" Your looking so beautiful today."
Alice was surprised by the sudden praise and blushed. She pushed Stella to go and take a bath.
Stella tried to finish quickly and came out soon. She went to the kitchen to find Alice. Alice was there taking out things from fridge. She went forward and took it from her hands.
" Why didn't you wait for me?"
" I was just taking out eggs."
They made bacon and eggs along with orange juice. After they were done, they sat up the table and had breakfast. Then they sat down and Stella asked her.
" So, I wanted to ask if you'd like to go somewhere? Is there any place you want to tour?" She wanted to take Alice somewhere she'd have fun.
" Nothing in particular. Anywhere is fine with me."
Stella smiled. She expected that reply. Alice was the type of person who'd rarely ask for anything freely. She was very reserved even with her own family. Unlike others, she wouldn't go up to them and say that I want this specific things. But rarely, when they were together, she would ask for little things. Like she would ask her to spend more time with her. She would get jealous of her spending for time with their friends. Alice had so many cute and adorable sides that makes her just want to pamper her.
Stella thought for a while about where to go. Then she finally decided and told Alice with a beautiful smile.
" Let's go and get ready. And be prepared. I'll only bring you back home after spending the whole day with you. You might even get tired."
Alice smiled. She couldn't want for it. She went to her apartment and decided to wear a long and slim starry bell bottom jeans. She wore a black sleevless top over it and some delicate bangles and jewelry with shoe heels. She left her hair hanging down and went out with light make up.
Stella fell head over heels again seeing her dressed up so beautifully. She dressed up in black cargo pants, a white vest with a pink and black chekered shirt over it. She wore simple shoe boots and left her hair hanging too.
They were both beautiful but Stella always felt that a beauty like Alice was a rare one and she was really lucky to have her. When they were in high school, she got a lots of confessions and Alice would get really upset and jealous over it but more than her, boys used to fawn over Alice. It's just no one had the guts to confess to her. Still a few did and Stella looked at them so bad that they were scared away.
