Deceived Me

Chapter 34:

Celina went up to her bedroom and came back with a red packet. Alice was surprised by it.

" Alice, I couldn't prepare a proper gift as Stella told me at last moment but here, it's a small gift for seeing my daughter's beautiful girlfriend for the first time."

Alice felt shy but she respectfully accepted it.

" Thank you, Aunty."

They went to prepare lunch. Alice and Celina were doing most of the work and they made Stella do small chores in the corner.

Stella looked at them cooking and talking with good chemistry and felt being left out but for once, she actually felt happy being left out as she looked at them together. It was such a beautiful moment.

They made fried rice without any causes. They were light and health yet tasty. They made munchow soup along with French fries and avocado milk shake. It was delicious and light meal. They had their fill in harmony and as Stella kept saying, it didn't take long for Alice and Celina to get along.

They've just met a few hours ago both they talked comfortably and without formalities. Maybe it was because they were alike in a few senses. Then after lunch, they decided to go out.

Girls like shopping so they went shopping. Stella brought a dress for her mother and a big soft toy for Alice. Alice liked soft things a lot. Especially soft toys.

Alice just looked around and enjoyed. She also liked shopping but she enjoyed looking at different things more. She was a little minimalist so she brought little but whatever she buys, she choose it among many others. So if she really likes something, she buys it.

Celina went around in shops and she got them both dresses to try on and whichever looked good on them, she bought it. All the after noon passed like that. Then they went to a restaurant to eat dinner from there they went to another sweets and desserts special place. They had a local special sweets which were really the best. They had sweets while Alice had brownie fudge ice cream. She didn't like heavy desserts but ice cream was just the one for her. It was her favorite.

Finally after that, they dropped Celina back home.

" Take care of yourselves. If you guys need me for anything, call me. Forget formalities and constraints. Next time, I'll try to come to you guys. Bye."

" Bye Mama."

" Bye Aunty. Take care."

They drove off and arrived home. They got out of the door and Alice walked to her apartment. Stella was surprised and asked her.

" Are you going to wash up there again? "

" Yeah. All my stuff are still here."

Alice find her eyes and was about to open the door when a pair of clingy arms your wrapped around her waist. She looked back at her with a confused smile and rubbed her hands as she asked.

" What's wrong?"

" Why don't we shift to one apartment? I don't want you to leave again and again just for getting your things."

" Kay. We'll do that when we got time. For now let me just get washed up. I am feeling tired and sleepy."

" Okay but I'll let you go only if you give me a kiss."

Stella teased her. Alice looked sideways at her affectionately. Her eyes slowly traveled down to her lips. Stella's eyes were also on her. Her eyes also traveled down to Alice's lips. An ambiguous atmosphere filled the space.

They slowly got closer and closer. They could feel each others warm breaths. Just when they were an inch apart, Alice suddenly moved and pecked her on her cheek before running away in her apartment.
