" No. Tell me. Not telling me is not going to do anything good either. Maybe sharing would make you let go of it."

" ...It was just such a sad dream that I didn't want to make you think too much about it too. I saw a funeral home. There was a coffin. I don't know who was in it but it was dark when someone entered. I didn't recognise you but later after waking up, I realised the sillouhete looked like you.

You were miserable. You were dressed in a nightdress and you were in a pretty bad situation. I saw you fall down and you were acting lifeless. You were in a really bad condition. It was like someone very important died. And then I saw you in some room.

...The room was locked up and the windows were open. The air conditioner was low and the temperature was enough to freeze you to death. I tried really hard in the dream to move but couldn't. I saw you getting paler and paler. And then you said something like you wish I was born in your place. So you would've died instead of me.

That made me recall the coffin scene and I thought that funeral was probably mine. It was really creepy dream. I had died in that dream and you were, you were killing yourself. It broke my heart. That was why I was a little dazed in the morning. That dream felt a little too realistic and scared the hell out of me. I cannot even imagine seeing you in that condition. I'd really die instead of seeing you like that."

Stella saw that Alice wasn't looking at her. She was staring ahead. She leaned forward to look at her and was a little surprised by her reaction. Alice was in a shock but tears were streaming down her face. Her eyes were wide and frozen.

Alice was in a shock. Her hands trembled and she felt like she couldn't breathe. This... How could this be possible? Could Stella have seen her... No! She couldn't, she shouldn't have, that's too cruel for both of them. She always wanted to make Stella realise the pain of watching thier beloved pass away but if she really saw that... She couldn't imagine it...

" Alice... Alice... "

" Yeah?!"

" What's wrong? Are you alright?"

" Yeah. I am, I am okay... "

" Are you sure? Or maybe you should call a taxi."

" No. I am fine. I was just thinking about something. You should go now. It's almost time. You'll be late."

" ...Alright. Take care and text me when you reach your office."

" Yeah."

Stella went in. Alice looked at her back in a daze. What happened back then was something she dared not recall. She can't even think about it. Everything was just pure horror. The memories of her last life, even the sweetest ones turned into poison.

She started the car and drove towards her office in a daze. The thoughts about their past life wondered in her head. She subconsciously accelerated a little bit without realising.

She recalled a memory that has always and will always hurt her.

" I am sorry. I can't come home. I am having fun with my friends at the bar. It's someone's birthday party."

Then the phone was hung up with a ding. Alice looked at her phone in a daze. Her eyes tried hard to hide the pain in them. At that time, they had already grown estranged.

They who used to share the smallest and biggest events of life with each other suddenly felt like they don't know anything about each other. They grew apart. Their love faded and seemed to get lost in the memory box of their past.

It was their third anniversary as a couple. They meant so much to each other. That night, she sat alone in the hall, the lights were off and in the darkness, she recalled the last two anniversary.

Stella was so happy and excited each time, she was like a puppy dancing around in excitement. She would be so clingy yet cool. She would steal kisses and tease her. She would be jealous over small things and overprotective over little things. She especially liked to be dominating. Others as much as eye her and she would stare deathly at them.

But then suddenly it was like someone hit them and wake them up from a dreams into a cruel and unacceptable reality. A reality she thought would never exist.
