" If... If a day comes when we both love each other but that is the reason we are in pain, if such a day comes when breaking up seems to be the only way, will you break up with me?"

" What?" Stella didn't understand her question. How could such a situation even exist where by being together they would be hurting each other despite their love?

" If your love becomes a source of extreme pain for me despite the fact that I love you, what will you do?" Alice voice was so vulnerable. Her voice trembled as she was crying.

" I... I don't think that is possible. But... If my love hurts you more than it makes you happy, then I will leave you. I'll leave you with a hope that you'll find someone else."

She hasn't even finished her words when a strong force pulled her. She crashed badly into Alice's arms. She felt Alice trembling as her hot tears wet her neck.

" Why'd you... Why would you do that? How was I... How could you... " Alice cried so bad that she couldn't even talk. She couldn't breath properly.

' Who does that in love? Who... Stella, I'll never... I'll never forgive you for doing that to me! It was my right! It was my right as your lover to know... To be there... It was my right... '

Stella was scared by the way Alice was crying. She froze. She never saw Alice in so much pain. The way Alice was crying litrally break her heart. Tears welled up in her eyes and a fear that she never felt before come in her heart.

Alice had slumped down on the dirty ground while crying in despair. Stella ignored her frozen heart and used all her courage to move.

She quickly bend down and held Alice's face in her hands. She said in an extremely tender voice as if coaxing a child in pain.

" Alice, don't cry. Don't cry I'll do whatever you say. I'll leave if you say, I'll stay if you say. I'll do whatever you want. Please, please don't cry like this. I can bear everything but not you crying like this. Please don't cry... " Stella asked her to not cry in a begging tone.

Alice didn't stop. She couldn't stop. She cried so many nights. She cried for years alone. She tormented herself in pain. She punished herself in different ways. She went crazy about thinking what went wrong. She felt crazy whenever she thought of the past. She was dying when she thought Stella has stopped loving her. But more than ever, she felt her soul fading away when she saw Stella slowly become a lifeless doll while they were together.

And now... Now after five years of her rebirth, after finally giving up on hope, after finally building up the strength to face the fact that Stella would stop loving her one day, she gets to know that Stella never stopped loving her. Yet, what hurts more than knowing this truth is the fact that Stella... Stella did this all because of her. But she didn't have the right to hide it. She didn't have the right to not tell her. She didn't have the right to become a lifeless doll. She didn't... '

Alice didn't stop for a long time. She cried in agony and Stella cried seeing her. Seeing her crying in pain was killing her but no matter what she said, no matter how much she begged, Alice wouldn't stop.

Finally, her cries died down but she fainted. Stella was stunned but then she carried her up and rushed to their apartment. She laid her down on her bed once again and hastily looked around for things. Her mind wasn't working properly. She didn't know whether to call an ambulance of find the first aid kit.

She was a doctor and she knew what to do but her mind was not working at all. She looked like she herself would pass out. The way Alice was crying before she passed out made her lose her senses to think normally.

While she was still in a mess, she heard Alice's voice.

" Stella... "

Stella turned around at the speed of light and looked at Alice with wide eyes which were still wet.

The moment she realised Alice is awake, Stella run to her and hugged her.

" Thank God! Thank God your okay!"

Alice didn't have any energy left. I'm her arms, Stella finally calmed down. She sat up and poured her a glass of water. Then she helped her drink. After putting down the glass, she looked at Alice worriedly and told her.

" Wait a minute. I'll bring a fruit juice for you. "

Before Alice could say anything, Stella left.
