Chapter 14

"Yes, father..." I said, smiling softly as he ruffles my hair gently. I lean my head against his chest as I feel content. I finally have a chance to have a family. Something I've longed to have. Maybe now, I'll find a way that'll help me remember my past and maybe... I can finally become a human.

Y/N P.O.V

"Y/N... why don't you move in with me? Now that you're a part of my family" he said. I blink my eyes at father's request. I turn my head to look at Giyuu-San for a brief moment before turning to look at him again. "Y/N?" He questioned. I realize I didn't say a thing to respond to his suggestion.

"Ah, sorry, Father. It's just... I can't leave Giyuu-San to live alone" I said. He furrowed his eyebrow at what I said. I turn my head to look at Giyuu-San. I'm not sure if he's okay with me talking about his nightmare. I bit my lips as I try to figure out what to say. "It's just... he was the one who brought me here. Leaving him behind just like that wouldn't seem right..." I said.

"I see... I'll leave you to discuss it with him" he said. He lift his hand slightly. "Come, Yumi... let's go home now, okay?" He said. Yumi turn to look at me. I smile softly at her. She smiles and gives me a quick hug. I lean down to place a kiss on the crown of her head.

"Take care now... I'll see you around, okay?" I said. She let out a giggle and nods her head. I release her from my hug as she turns around and rush to Father, grabbing his hand. I escort them to the front door. I wave at Yumi as the two of them make their way out of Giyuu-San's house.

"Why didn't you accept his offer?" A voice said behind me. I turn my head to see Giyuu-San standing there with his arms crossed as he leans his side on the wall. I smile softly at him as I close the front door.

"I'm worried about you. That's why..." I said. He stares at me in confusion as I walk closer to him until I'm standing in front of him. "What if you have nightmares and I'm not here to console you?" I said, staring at him worriedly. His eyes soften as he realize that I'm worried about him.

"That's why?" He said. I just nod my head. I look away from him. I feel my body getting pulled into a warm embrace. He places his head on my shoulder as he wrap his arms around me. I slowly wrap my arms around his torso. "Thank you for caring about me, Y/N-Sama..." he said.

My eyes widen at what he said. I pull away from the hug to look at him. I wave my hand frantically. "Eeeh... just Y-Y/N is f-fine! No need for such honorifics!" I said. I feel so flustered when he addressed me with 'Sama.'

"I can't do that... you're Oyakata-Sama's daughter now. I have to respect you" he said. I just pout at him. He let out a chuckle as he ruffles my hair gently. "I'm just messing with you, Y/N" he said. I rolled my eyes at what he said, making him laugh even more. "But really... don't worry about me. Go on and live with your new family" he said.

I stare at him with a worried gaze, still reluctant to leave him behind. He let out a sigh at the way I'm acting. He lift his hand and gently flick my forehead. I wince at his action as I run my forehead that tingles from his flick.

"I told you it's fine..." he said. I look down at what he said. I feel a hand cupping the side of my cheek as he gently tilt my head to look at him. He leans down and places a soft kiss on my forehead. My eyes widen at his gesture.

"What's that for?" I asked, placing my hand on the spot where he had just kissed. I feel my cheeks growing warm because of his action. He just smiles at what I said as he removes his hand from my cheek.

"A kiss on your forehead is sign that I care about you... that you're someone I'd cherish no matter how far you are from me..." he said. My eyes soften at what he said. I feel my eyes tearing up at his sweet words.

He smiles at me as he place his hand on the back of my head, gently pulling me closer until his forehead is resting against mine. "Go on... live with your new family, Y/N. We can still see each other. After all, it's the rule that you'd be going with me on missions" he said. I let out a sigh and nod my head at what he said.

Giyuu-San decided to escort me to Father's house in the Ubuyashiki Estate. I keep my gaze on the ground as we walk. Giyuu-San is walking in front of me as I'm walking in a slow pace.

I flinch when I bumped into bis back when he stops out of nowhere. He turn around to look at me. "W-What?" I asked, nervously as he stares at me with a stern face.

"Can you not walk behind me, Y/N?" He asked. He grab my hand, gently pulling me to stand next to him. "Please walk next to me instead" he said. I just look down at the ground.

"O-Okay..." I said. He turn around and starts to walk. This time his hand is still holding mine, without a sign of letting my hand go. I turn my head slightly to look at his hand that's entwined with mine. I feel my heart beating faster at the feeling of his warm hand.

"We're here..." Giyuu-San said, snapping me out of my daze. I turn my head to see the Ubuyashiki Estate. He turn to look at me. "Let's head inside?" He said. I just nod my head. He finally let my hand go as we make our way into the Estate.

"Nee-San!!" I hear Yumi yelled out. I turn my head to see her running towards me. I smile as she jumps into my arms. I pick her up and holds her close. I turn my head to see Father being guide towards us by one of his twins.

"Have you decide, Y/N? Everyone in this family have all accept you as a part of the Ubuyashiki... now it's just up to you. Will you come and live with us?" He said. I turn my head to look at Giyuu-San to see him smiling at me. He nods his head, as if urging me to accept and live with my new family.

"Yes, Father... I've decided that I want to live with you" I said. A soft smile appear on his lips as he lift his hand. I place my hand on top of his as he pulls me close. I lean my head against his chest as he held me gently.

"I'm happy... come now, my dear. I'll introduce you to your new family..." he said. As he pulls away from me. One of the twins grab his hand to guide him. I turn my head to look at Giyuu-San. He lift his hand and wave at me. I smile sadly at him. I lift my hand to wave at him. I turn around when Yumi start to pull me along, wanting me to meet the rest of the family.

The first one I meet is Ubuyashiki Amane, who is father's wife. Which means I have to call her mother. Next are his children. He have five children in total. Their names are Ubuyashiki Hinaki, Ubuyashiki Nichika, Ubuyashiki Kiriya, Ubuyashiki Kuina, and Ubuyashiki Kanata. It didn't take too long for me to realize they're quintuplets. They each have smiles on their faces as they stares at me.

"Welcome to the family, Nee-San" Nichika said. I smile softly at her as she walks over to me. She wraps her arms around my waist. I smile at her gesture and leans down to hug her back.

The rest of the quintuplets walks over to me to give me a group hug. I close my eyes as I try my best to hug all five of them. I feel tears building up in my eyes. But they aren't sad tears, they are happy tears. I'm just so happy that I'm finally able to be a part of a family.
