"Faresti meglio a non perderti la cena stasera. Non fare tardi e non portare con te quel vagabondo che hai visto. Non è più la benvenuta a casa mia. Puttana senza classi." My mother huffed through the phone, as I pulled into my parking spot. (You better not miss dinner tonight. Do not be late, or bring that tramp you've been seeing. She's not welcomed in my home anymore. Classless whore.)
"Non avevo nemmeno intenzione di portarla. Non c'è niente di grave tra noi. Ma devo andare. Sono appena arrivato in ufficio." I said, and we said our goodbyes, before I turned my engine off, and got out the car. ("Wasn't even planning on bringing her. It's nothing serious between us. But, I gotta go. I just got to the office.)
I slid my blazer on, since it was fucking freezing out, and headed inside.
"Good morning, Mr. Rossi." My receptionist greeted, as I passed by her desk.
"Morning, Ms. Glenn."
Going into my private elevator, I responded to a few texts on the way up, getting irritated, from one person in particular.
I wasn't in the mood for her shit today, so I just ignored those messages.
When the doors opened, my personal receptionist, Ms. Baker greeted me, and handed me a sticky note, with a few messages on it.
"Is Arisa here yet?" I asked, briefly reading over the messages.
"Yeah. She's already in your office."
Giving her a firm nod, I headed to my office, while politely greeting a couple more people.
When I walked in, Arisa, my assistant, was in the middle of decorating a Christmas tree.
