"Thank you, so much." I politely smiled to the valet attendant, when he helped me out of my car.
The cold New York wind harshly blew against my moisturized skin, as I walked up the grand staircase, and into the hotel.
I was attending a New Year's Eve party, a close friend of mine was having.
It had been a while since I've gone out, and I decided to get dolled up, and step out for the night.
Maybe have several drinks, to bring the new year in.
As I stepped into the glass doors, the heat instantly warmed me, and I sighed in relief.
It's way too fucking cold outside.
As I walked through the lobby, I passed by several people dressed up, or waiting to check in, and caught way too many eyes gawking at me.

As I got closer to the banquet hall, the music became louder
