I woke up to mother walking in the room with breakfast. "Goodmorning Niecy, how you feeling?"
"Uhh good morning mama." I sat up a little rubbing my eyes. "What's all this."
"I said I wanted to start over."
"I hear you." She sat in bed with me looking back at me.
"So how's the baby?"
"We're ok, I'm finding out the gender soon, I'd like it if you came along with me?"
"I'd love too."
"Oh Deniseeee!" Karen came in with a bear and a gift bag. She came round kissing me on my cheek.
"The morning bout to leave you girl, get up." She smiled at her placing the bear on my head and the bag beside me.
"Mid morning mama." Karen kissed mama cheek before plopping beside me rubbing my stomach.
"Hi aunties baby."
She grinned looking at me "I'm so excited, it's gonna be a great experience."
"You think so?"
"Yea, I mean I get to learn about babies while becoming the greatest aunty." I smiled at Karen, she's been the happiest about my whole pregnancy.
"And maybe when Drew and I have kids you could be there for me."
"You and Drew talk about stuff like that?"
"Oh girl yes, we've discussed marriage, careers, kids. We really wanna be together, I think it's amazing to have a man who wants all that with you. What you think mother?"
"I think it's a fine thing Karen. Just don't you two get too carried away with the thought, we never know what the future holds."
"Yea, you're right but I know for sure with Drew and I we're built to last." Mother just looked at her in a jealous like way. I couldn't understand it, I just hope she not trynna start this back.
"I'm glad you believe that Karen really and I hope it's true."
"What you mean mama?"
"Nothing, I'm just glad you two are gonna last."
"Yea, well I gotta go. Drew has a surprise for me I can't wait."
"Have fun Kare."
"I will." She kissed my cheek then mother's as she left the room.
"I love Drew for her."
"Mhm."
"Mama, what's the matter?"
"He's no good for her."
"Oh no we not starting this up. If you gone do this then you can leave my room, it's time for my nap anyways."
"You just woke up, yea and I wish I didn't." She left as I sighed, nothing really did change....
Drew
So look y'all Greg and I are planning a double date for our girls. They've been going through so much within that household we just want them to be in a safe space, and also my dad fixed mom and his first house that's five house from Karen's; so it's like our get away spot. My parents gave Greg permission use it sometime him and Dorinda, since he's like my brother and stuff.
With the girls going back home I'm gonna say it's gone be lonely and low key I think Ethan's gonna miss Denise, just like I'm gonna miss Karen next to me and hugged up on my side.
