Grow Old Without You (Chapter 8)

"Why didn't you just let me die?"

What is she talking about. Of course I wouldn't let her die like that. She means the world to me and everyone around her. She's Camila.

"You hate me, you left me. It wouldn't matter if I just died right? Lana has you now. She wanted to be with--"

"So you just want to die? What about Kara? She wouldn't know you, you haven't even hugged her yet. You just want to die just like that not thinking about your daughters? Well how selfish have you gotten, Camila?!" I screamed at her as she just looked at her hands. I know I shouldn't have done that, but I need to open her freaking head to reality. "Okay. I'll call the kids now to say goodbye to you, 'cos that's what you wanted right?" I said as I got my phone and called Keana, Camila was still not moving, but I could see tears falling from her eyes. "Well, I heard from Lana you did this before too? Why would you want your own daughter to experience that?" I screamed at her again as my hands started to shake from the memory of seeing her unconscious. "She's only 10, Camz." I said softly as I felt my own eyes water.

"I just want to feel." She said softly as I heard her sob. "You left me, and it's like you brought my life with you. I'm broken." She said as her sobs grew louder.

I couldn't say anything. She basically said she was broken after I left, and leaving her made her numb. I was the reason for her suffering.

We heard knocking on the door and 2 heads peeking the door.

"Come in, babies." Dinah said as Lana and Kara walked in side, hand in hand. Lana was pulling Kara as she has her head down, not wanting to be here.

"It's okay Kara." I said as Kara slightly looked up, hiding behind Lana. "So your Mama wants to say something." I said as Camila looked up at me, shaking her head. She knows she can't break her daughters' hearts, not anymore. "Kara, can you give Mama a hug?" I said as Kara peeked her head behind Lana. She was scared, and I could see it from her tear stained eyes. "Mama doesn't bite." I giggled as Kara just stared at Camila.

"Mama's hurt? Is she gonna be okay?" Kara said softly as Camila's eyes was full of guilt.

"I'm gonna be okay, now you're here." Camila smiled at Kara as she slowly walked to Camila's bed. "I'm gonna be better if you give me a hug."

Kara let go of Lana's hand as she ran to Camila's bed, burying her face in Camila's chest. I saw how Camila's brightened up as soon as she felt Kara in her arms.

"Mama's gonna be okay, now." Camila smiled at Kara as she kissed her head. "Hey you, aren't you gonna give me a hug too?" Lana looked up at Camila as she slid to Camila's side, cuddling to her too.

"Mama I don't hate you, okay? I love you. You're my moon." Lana said as she sobbed on Camila's chest. "Please don't die."

Lana's words broke my heart into a million pieces. Lana heard Camz, and she figured out why Camila has been doing this. She figured Camila has been trying to kill herself, and wanting a way out of all the things she's done to everyone.

"I'll try to fight with all my demons. For your guys, okay?" Camila said rubbing Lana's back.

"Mama, forgiveness and love." Kara said softly as Camila looked straight into my eyes.

"Forgiveness and Love." Camila said as she sadly smiled at me.

"Forgiveness and Love." I smiled at Camila as Lana kissed her Mama's cheek.

"Promise you won't do it again?" Lana said, as Camila looked deep in her eyes.

"I promise. I have my girls now, and that's all I've waited for."
