Grow Old Without You (Chapter 58)
Lauren
"How is she missing, Keana?" I was angry, and in the verge of having a panic attack. Camila has been missing for a week, and whatever form of communication they have with her is gone. Her phone's with Keana.
"We were at the base, and then there was an explosion from the back lot, which where Camila was. She was grabbing her stupid jacket." Keana was crying, and I could tell she was distressed too.
"Why aren't you looking for her. The fuck Keana! I knew you shouldn't have thought of coming there."
"We did look for her. She wasnt there. The hell Lauren! Ofcourse that's the first thing I would do. Camila's my family." Keana sighed. "We're looking for her, where she would possibly be. We haven't had an attack since the last one, so we're still optimistic to have time to find her. I wouldn't stop until I do, Lo."
"Keana, please update me. Please. Make sure she's still--"
"Don't say it Lo. Don't lose hope, babe. I'll call you as soon as I reach camp."
"I love you, Keana. Please stay safe."
"I love you Lo." I hung up as the twins rushed to me.
"What's happening. Is Mama okay?" Lana looked worried as I sighed and just hugged them tight. I don't know how I'd tell them. I can't even get my head around the fact that Camila may or may not be alive.
"Mama's not with Aunt Kea. They're still looking for her, and I want you guys to just pray that they'd find her, okay?" I said softly as I heard my daughters sob on my chest.
All my fears are coming true.
A week has passed, again. I can't even contact Keana or Will or anyone that I could ask about Camila. I was sent home yesterday, by Candece my co producer, for not being my self. She said I wasn't fit to work, and come back when I'm feeling better. I will never feel better until I know where Keana and Camila are. I need to know if they're safe or even alive.
"Mommy, you should eat." I felt the bed dip as I covered my face with my quilt. I don't want them to see me crying, which I know is stupid, knowing they hear me sob every single night.
"I'm not hungry." I answered softly as I felt the quilt being pulled off of my body.
"Mommy. Come on. Let's eat."
"I said I'm not hungry."
"Mommy, please?"
"I'm not hungry, okay?" I shouted at the girls as I pulled the quilt over my head again.
I didn't hear from them the whole day.

Mama has been missing for 3 weeks now, and we still haven't heard from anyone. I'm trying my best to get things together in the house. Abuela's here, and she's been a big help with all the grown up things. But she doesn't stay the night, and everything happens during the night, when Mommy thinks everyone's sleeping.
Abuela cooks us breakfast, lunch and dinner. She takes care of Mommy when we're at school, and I think Mommy cooperates when Abuela's here. But at night, when Abuela leaves, Mommy just shuts down. She thinks we don't hear her, but I hear her cry every single night. I hear her call for Mama, and I don't know what to do with her anymore. She trashes their room some nights, and when she passes out on the bathroom floor after she drinks bottles and bottles of whiskey, I clean the room up, clean all the evidence, so she wouldn't get in trouble with Abuela.
