Price's office was dimly lit, the ambiance heavy with the weight of recent events. As you stood before him, Price's stern expression softened slightly, and he sighed, recognizing the complexity of the situation. "Y/N, you were told to get out of there," he said, but there was a subtle understanding in his tone. His frustration was evident, but there was also a glimmer of acknowledgment for your unwavering commitment to your fellow soldier. You took a deep breath, meeting his gaze with a mix of respect and determination. "I couldn't leave Bullet behind, John. I did what I had to do to make sure he made it out alive. You of all people should understand," you explained, your words carrying the weight of the choices made in the heat of battle.

Price leaned back in his chair, studying you for a moment. The silence lingered before he spoke again. "Damn it, Y/N. I need you to trust the chain of command. but," He sighed. "I can't fault you for looking out for your team," he admitted, a hint of understanding softening his features. There was a sense of relief as the tension in the room eased. Price might not have been pleased with your deviation from orders, but beneath the gruff exterior, there was a silent acknowledgment of the choices he made years ago. "I'm  glad you made it out, and the reason Bullet is still breathing is because of you, but you need to be careful when disobeying orders Y/N." You nodded in agreement. He motioned for you to take a seat in the chair in front of his desk.  Price's expression was a mix of contemplation and resolve.

A call from Kate Laswell had interrupted the weighty conversation in Price's office. You stood up and went around the desk to see the screen.  As her familiar face appeared on the laptop, you couldn't help but feel a mix of familiarity and uncertainty. "Kate, how are you?" Price greeted her, his voice carrying a tone of both casualness and professionalism. The exchange revealed a friendly connection between the two, one that transcended the confines of military protocol. "I've been better. Things are getting worse down here, Price," Kate replied, her expression mirroring the challenges she undoubtedly faced on her end in Mexico.

Price nodded in contemplation, his fingers absentmindedly fiddling with his beard. "As soon as I finish all this paperwork I'll be transferred down there. Hopefully with some new members." He responded. "New members? Transferring?" You questioned, Kate's attention shifted to you, and her gaze met the camera with confidence. "Y/N, I believe you're ready." The room held a charged atmosphere as Kate continued, addressing the recent losses in Task Force 141. "We've lost Roach and Yuri, and," She paused. "I hate to say this, but the void they left in 141 needs to be filled. We can't be short of soldiers." She spoke with a mix of emotion and sorrow when discussing the deaths of her comrades.

You listened attentively, and Kate's next words carried a significant revelation. "Price watched you grow, and your dedication to your team hasn't gone unnoticed. I want you to join Task Force 141." The proposition hung in the air, echoing the sentiments expressed moments ago. The legacy of Task Force 141 beckoned, and the decision you were about to make would not only shape your future but contribute to the ongoing history of a unit that operated in the shadows, carrying out missions of utmost importance.

Price met your gaze, awaiting your response. The choice presented was significant, and the path ahead held challenges that would demand more than just skill on the battlefield. It was an invitation into a brotherhood forged in the fires of conflict, and the decision to accept carried the weight of duty, loyalty, and the pursuit of a legacy that defined those who wore the 141 insignia. Your eyes narrowed slightly in contemplation as you processed the proposition. The bonds with your current team, the familiarity of the SAS, and the shared experiences felt like the cornerstone of your identity.
