As you reload your weapon, your eyes catch something unsettling nearby—a glimpse of your younger self, huddled under a table, trembling with fear and tears streaming down your cheeks. The sight sends a shiver down your spine, a stark reminder of past traumas and vulnerabilities. You try to look away, to focus on the task at hand, but the image lingers in your mind, haunting you. Despite your efforts to shake off the disturbing vision, your breath catches in your throat, and a sense of panic starts to well up inside you. Your ears begin to ring, drowning out the sounds of chaos around you, and your chest tightens as if an invisible weight is pressing down on you. The world around you blurs as you struggle to draw in air, each gasp feeling more desperate than the last.

Your hands tremble as you try to steady yourself, but the memories flood back with overwhelming intensity, threatening to engulf you. It's as if you're transported back in time, reliving the fear and helplessness of that moment. Despite your best efforts to control your breathing, hyperventilation takes hold, leaving you feeling dizzy and disoriented amidst the chaos of the present.

As this was happening, Ghost and Soap made their way stealthily to the roof, their footsteps muffled by the intensity of the rain, a tense silence hung in the air between them. Soap's voice cut through the quietude, barely above a whisper, his words laden with a mix of disbelief and resignation. "Sin Nombre being a woman, who would have known," he murmured, the gravity of the situation weighing heavily on his mind as they ascended the stairs.

Upon reaching the rooftop, the rain continued to cascade down around them, obscuring their surroundings in a curtain of mist and darkness. Through the haze, they spotted their target, El Sin Nombre, standing at the edge of the roof, her silhouette outlined against the dim glow of the city lights. As Ghost and Soap raised their weapons, their movements calculated and precise, Sin Nombre turned to face them, her demeanor calm and composed despite the imminent threat. "You come to my city and for what, to destroy what is already destroyed?" she challenged, her voice cutting through the sound of the rain.

Ghost's grip tightened on his weapon, his resolve unwavering as he kept his aim steady. "Get on your knees Sin Nombre!" Soap yelled holding his weapon firm. "My name is Valeria, and I kneel for no one," she said with confidence. "If you didn't associate with terrorists transporting missiles, we wouldn't have to be here," Ghost retorted, his voice firm and resolute despite the tension that crackled in the air between them. Valeria's response echoed across the rooftop, her voice carrying an air of defiance as she denied any involvement in the criminal activities that plagued the city. "I've done no such thing," she asserted, her words laced with a hint of mockery as she challenged the accusations leveled against her.

Soap stepped forward, his expression unreadable as he laid out the terms of their tentative agreement. "You give us what we want, and we'll give you what you want," he proposed, his voice steady despite the tension that hung in the air like a heavy shroud. Valeria regarded them with a mixture of skepticism and amusement, her arms crossed defiantly as she awaited their response. "And what do I want?" she inquired, her tone tinged with curiosity as she awaited their proposal.

Ghost stepped forward, his gaze unwavering as he met Valeria's challenging stare. "Leave the city, pretend like this never happened," he stated firmly, his words carrying the weight of their collective resolve. For a moment, silence descended upon the rooftop as Valeria considered their offer, weighing the consequences of her decision. Then, without hesitation, she held out her wrists, a gesture of acquiescence to their terms. As Soap moved forward to secure her in handcuffs, a sense of resolution settled over the rooftop. "El Sin Nombre has been secured, awaiting exfil." Ghost said into the comms to which Shepherd responded, "Copy that, Shadow helo heading your way."
