The car came to a stop, the engine purring softly as Price let out a relieved sigh. You gently shook Simon awake from his slumber. "We're here," you whispered, your voice soothing after the long drive. Slowly, Simon's eyes fluttered open and he let out a drowsy yawn. The safehouse was situated in the middle of nowhere, but it looked surprisingly inviting. It was a two-story house, with enough space for everyone to comfortably fit inside. "Laswell didn't do half bad," Soap remarked, stretching as he got up from his nap. "Indeed," Gaz agreed, nodding in approval.

Stretching your limbs with a groan, you stepped out of the car and took a deep breath. The stars glittered in the night sky, creating an atmosphere of peace and tranquility. "I'm tired, let's go," Ghost said, breaking the peaceful silence. "Okay, but don't get grouchy with me sir," you teased, grabbing your bags and following him towards the house. "That was one hell of a drive," Viper commented as he approached. "It certainly was," you agreed wearily as you started towards the house. Price unlocked the door and you all entered, marveling at how well-furnished it was. It looked like something straight out of a magazine.

"Damn," Price breathed, taking in the luxurious surroundings. It had been a long time since any of you had stayed somewhere this nice. "I could definitely get used to this," Keegan said with a grin. Without wasting any time, Soap darted up the stairs to claim a room for himself. Ghost playfully raced after him, followed by the rest of the group except for Price. You stayed behind on the ground floor and chuckled at their childlike behavior. "They're like children," Price shook his head with amusement, unable to suppress a smile. "Get to bed, kiddo," he said affectionately, giving your back a pat.

With Price's assistance, you slowly ascended the stairs, each step sending a jolt of pain through your tired body. As you reached the top, you saw Soap standing with his hands on his knees, panting heavily. "I got us the best room," Simon announced proudly, standing tall by the doorway. "Yeah... only because you put me in a bloody headlock," Soap grumbled, rubbing his neck. You couldn't help but laugh as you patted Soap on the back. "Oh, everyone," Price called out to garner everyone's attention. "Your belongings will be sent here by Ale. They should arrive tomorrow or the next day." With that, Keegan bid everyone goodnight and retreated into his own room. "Night Keegs," you said before turning to follow Simon into your shared room. "After you," he said with a gracious gesture.

Stepping inside, you took in your surroundings - a comfortable bed, a small window overlooking serene wilderness - and felt yourself relax for the first time in what seemed like ages. Simon stripped down to his boxers and hopped into bed, pulling the covers over himself. He sat up against the headboard and watched as you gazed out the window. The quietness enveloped you, creating a sense of peace unlike any other. "You like it?" Simon asked, breaking the silence. You turned to face him and nodded.

"It's quiet for once," you replied with a content smile. Simon nodded in agreement. "It's peaceful," he added, patting the spot next to him on the bed. You followed suit and stripped down to your tank top and underwear before joining Simon under the covers. As he looked at you with admiration in his eyes, undressing you with his gaze, you playfully scolded him. "Don't even think about it," you warned, causing him to let out a small chuckle. "I can't look now?" he asked innocently. "I didn't say that," you replied with a grin as you snuggled closer to him in the soft bed.
