Your POV

A few hours had passed. The sun was starting to set over Japan and the talk about the Hero billboards was dying down. I was sat next to my boyfriend on the couch, curled into his side as he twisted my hair in his fingers. We both were scrolling through our phones with the TV playing in the background. Every once in a while, I'd breath a laugh through my nose at something funny and tilt my phone up to show him.

Suddenly, the breaking news alert came on the TV, making everyone turn their attention towards it. Apparently, there was a fight between a Nomu, Endeavor, and Hawks.

"We're on the scene as an intense battle rages between top two heroes Endeavor and Hawks against a Nomu," the reporter says, "We've been told by bystanders that the Nomu just appeared out of nowhere and flew straight into the side of this building."

The building had been cut in half and the top part was sliding off. Hawks was using his feathers to evacuate the people while Endeavor focused on the Nomu. Before the building could fall, Endeavor sliced it into small pieces so no one would get seriously injured.

Then, the Nomu, which was more like just a head and torso, spit out a few mucus blobs that turned into Nomu before repairing its body. Something about this Nomu was different than the ones I had seen. It almost seemed like it was intelligent.

The top hero and the creature faced off in midair, staring each other down before Endeavor erupted in flames.

The reporter gasped as she said, "Look at that, Endeavor is still in the sky! Shining brightly. I can feel the heat from his attacks! He's a one-man inferno!"

The Nomu sent four muscular arms flying at Endeavor, but he sent a massive wave of flames in all directions. His words from just a few hours ago rang through my head. 'Just watch what I do,' he said. We're all watching Endeavor, don't let us down.

When the flames dissipated, it was revealed that the Nomu had torn off its head and threw it out of range. The decapitated head shot two muscle-looking appendages at Endeavor, one hitting him in the face and the other on his abdomen. The Nomu regenerated its body and slammed Endeavor into the partially destoryed building, pinning him down.

There was a collective gasp throughout the room. Even from the view on the ground, it was obvious by the amount of blood that the hit was not good.

I immediately jumped off of the couch and rushed over to Todoroki. His eyes were wide as he stared at the screen, mouth slightly agape. I wasn't exactly sure what to do, so I did the only thing that came to mind. I clutched onto his arm with a comforting hand on his shoulder as we both stared at the screen. I knew that nothing I said would help or make this better.

"The villain that suddenly appeared is now destroying the city! I can't confirm this, but it looks as though many bioengineered human Nomu are also on the ground. Heroes are currently attempting to suppress them and evacuate citizens. However, Endeavor appears to have been greatly wounded. This madness... I can't help but draw comparisons to the nightmare we witnessed three months ago in Kamino Ward."

The reporter was cut off by a blast of flames and then Endeavor flying towards the Nomu. But the Nomu grabbed him and swung him around harshly into the buildings. Once again, there was a collective gasp as the camera panned to the view from the air. The hero had a large gash down his face, and he was obviously struggling to even stand up. He spat a large amount of blood from his lips as he tried.

I grimaced as I pleaded under my breath, "Come on, Endeavor. Get up."

The camera panned down to the crowd pushing and shoving each other. "There's no symbol..." the reporter said in horror, "This is what it looks like when people have no hope."
