Your POV
"I knew something was off with him earlier," Endeavor muttered under his breath. He seemed to be rereading the message for what felt like the 20th time. "It all makes sense now," he said, looking back up at me.
"What makes sense?" I asked curiously.
He set the paper back on his desk as he explained, "Hawks is investigating the enemy with the help of the Commission. These works studies... They're training the students to fight in the upcoming war."
"That- That can't be," I breathed.
Endeavor merely shook his head before replying, "Unfortunately, that's what's happening. If the pros fail, then the safety of the country and the world will fall to a bunch of high school students."
There was a moment of silence before I continued, "Well, then there's no time to waste. We've only got 4 months before this war, and we can't waste a second of it."
"You're right," Endeavor sighed, standing up from his desk and grabbing the sheet of paper, "This changes everything." He quickly used his quirk to incinerate the message, stating, "Nobody else can know about this. You can't tell anyone, especially not the other students."
"Of course," I nodded. If this got out, the liberation army, whoever that may be, will know that there's a spy. We can't risk Hawks getting caught.
"Go back to your room and get some rest," Endeavor instructed, "Starting tomorrow, I'm going to train you all myself."
The Next Day...
I didn't get much sleep the night before, but it was enough to function properly throughout the day with some coffee. The four of us walked to the working floor of the agency, our bags and cases in hand. When we arrived, we were greeted by the Flaming Sidekickers.
After our greetings, Burnin took the lead, saying, "So, thing is, Shoto and Y/N are the only ones Endeavor wanted to train on his own. But don't worry, us sidekicks will take good care of you other two." So that's what Endeavor meant.
Bakugo's face scrunched in anger as he shouted, "I'm here because I was told I could watch the number one hero work up close!"
"You'll still see him!" Midoriya tried to reason, "Please calm down Kacchan!"
"This isn't how I expected things to play out. I'll try talking to him," Todoroki said.
I was quick to butt in, "You know guys, I think he might have changed his mind since yesterday."
Todoroki gave me a curious look and was about to ask a question, but the doors of Endeavor's office opened first. We all shut our mouths and turned to face the pro as he walked towards us. It was utter silence until he stopped a few paces away.
"Shoto. Lifeline. Deku. Bakugo. I'll look after you four myself."
Bakugo smirked triumphantly while the Midoriya and I smile, Todoroki simply staring at his father.
"Suit up."
"Yes sir!"
We all ran to the locker rooms and changed quickly. My canister from the day prior was now empty as it rested on my hip. I smirked to myself as I did a once over in the mirror. I had to admit, I really liked my winterized costume.
Once we were finished, we all met Endeavor in the training room we were in the day before, the Flaming Sidekickers in there as well. He stood before us, arms crossed and a stern, yet determined look adorning his face, "You kids are now under my tutelage. Deku. Bakugo. Lifeline. Before we begin, tell me about yourselves. What are you currently capable of? What weaknesses do you need to improve upon?"
