Your POV

"Stay light on your feet, Y/N."

"I'm trying!"

I used my energy sword to fend off Hawks's feather sword. I was getting annoyed at his relentless attacks. There was no break.

His blade came down towards me, and I saw my opening. I stepped back with one foot and pivoted around, bringing my sword around with a cry. I stopped just shy of his neck, panting heavily. "Ha. I win," I said triumphantly through my heavy breaths.

"Nice one, Birdie," he smiled, stepping forward as I let my blade dissolve. "That's your first win!"

"Oh, thank goodness. Have I earned a break now?" I asked with a groan.

He chuckled at my exhausted plea, "Yeah, you've earned it."

I sighed with relief and unzipped my gym uniform jacket, taking it off and exposing my tank top. I sat down on the floor, crossing my legs and pulling my phone out to text my boyfriend. I asked him to bring me some water, seeing as I forgot to bring mine.

"Texting, Bakugo?" Hawks asked teasingly.

"None of your business," I scolded, holding my phone out of his view. I had gotten over my crush on Hawks over the last few weeks, and now saw him as more of a mentor.

"I bet it is."

I scoffed, shooting small sparks at him. He yelped and jumped back, feathers ruffling up slightly.

"Hey, dumbass. I got your water."

I perked up, jumping to my feet and running over to him. "Thank you, love," I chirped, taking the bottle from him. He placed his hand on my hip, giving it a squeeze. I blushed and swatted his hand away as he smirked.

I took greedy gulps of water as I walked back over to Hawks. "Hey, Bakugo! Wanna stay and watch our training?"

"Yeah, whatever," Katsuki replied with a huff, shoving his hands into his pockets. He walked further into the room, taking his place against the wall.

"Here, catch," I tossed my boyfriend my half empty bottle, him catching it with ease. "Okay, let's go again."

He held his feather in his hand, smirking, "Let's go."

I formed an energy blade in my hand and ran toward him, taking the offensive. Our blades clashed, both of us swinging and blocking, sending kicks at each other every once in a while. At one point, I saw an opening and took it. I went to swing for his neck, but he stepped back. I tried to continue my swing through, going to pivot around.

But he stopped me, wrapping an arm around my waist and holding his blade to my neck. Out of shock, I dropped my blade and froze. "Got you," he smirked.

A mischievous grin spread across my lips as I spoke, "Look down." He glanced down, letting out an incredulous laugh. I was holding a kunai knife made of energy at his abdomen. In the end, we would've both perished.

"That one's a draw, Birdie. But nice job," he stepped back giving me a proud smile. "At this rate, you'll be a master by the final battle."

"Good. That's exactly what I need," I nodded, releasing the kunai and turning to my grumbling boyfriend. "Come on, wanna show me some more explosion tricks?"

He pushed himself off the wall, and walked over, no longer mumbling incoherent words under his breath. "I'll teach you Stun Grenade," he said, a bit forcefully.

I nodded hesitantly, already sensing that something was off. "Alright. That's the one where you shoot out a massive explosion, right?"
