Third Person POV
Shoji ran over and offered his tentacle-like arms as a shield for Midoriya and Y/N's bodies. Iida immediately handed the unconscious boy over, but Bakugo refused to let her go. He was never going to let her go ever again.
Momo was kind enough to make a blanket to wrap around Y/N, seeing as she was still shaking violently from her high fever. She carefully helped Bakugo wrap the girl into the warm blanket that Momo had made water resistant to keep her dry. Her shaking calmed slightly and even more so when she curled into Bakugo's warmth.
The explosive boy's eyes softened as he held the girl he loved close to his chest. Even though she was feverish, she was the most comfortable she had been in weeks. She was back where she belonged. In his arms.
He noticed something hanging from her neck and tucked into her shirt. He reached down and gently slipped it from under the fabric and froze when he saw what it was. It was her ring. The ring she held so dearly during their time apart. It made the boy want to hug and kiss her and tell her how much he loves her. But that would have to wait until she was safely back at the dorms.
Your POV
I stirred slightly, waking from my unconscious state. I groaned softly under my breath and fluttered my eyes open. I felt absolutely awful, body and mind. During my unconsciousness, I didn't see All for One. Maybe due to the exhaustion, or possibly the fact I was comfortable in Katsuki's arms.
I looked up, seeing the boy was already looking down at me. His eyes soft with a small smile on his face. "Hey, beautiful," he whispered.
I went to respond but was cut off by sudden shouting from behind a massive wall, "Keep the kids away!" My face formed into a deep frown as I turned my head to look at the doors ahead of us.
"Geez... Loud, aren't they?" Thirteen, who was now not wearing her helmet spoke.
I tried to push myself out of Katsuki's arms, but it was no use. I was still incredibly weak and shivering from my fever. "Katsuki," I whimpered out, "Let me go. They obviously don't want-"
"Screw what they want," he said, his hold on me tightening slightly. "We all want you here... I want you here." I looked up at him, opening my mouth to argue. "You're too weak to fight me on this. Even if you tried to leave, I wouldn't let you. So, please... Just stay."
I hesitated, thinking over his words. Maybe... Maybe staying wouldn't be so bad. Even if just to recover and get my strength back. After a few more seconds, I slowly nodded, muttering an, "Okay."
He seemed to breathe a sigh of relief, and then we headed towards the doors. As soon as we walked in, we were met with the crowd shouting at Izuku and me.
"Don't let those kids into UA's shelter!"
"Keep them out!"
"They're the ones Shigaraki's rumored to be after!"
"Bringing them here would kill us!"
I swung my legs out of Katsuki's arms and planted them on the ground before standing up. I took the blanket that was covering me and wrapped it around my shoulders as my shivering began to lessen, just a little bit.
"Hey, hey! Let's calm the vibe down!" Hizashi tried to reason.
But the citizens were having none of it.
"Did you hear the principal's speech?"
"He said he's guarantee our safety!"
"So, guarantee it!"
"We won't let this happen!"
"Take the kids away!"
"We were told if we abandoned our homes, you'd keep us safe here!"
