Your POV

A few nights later, I was woken up by a pounding on my door. I jumped awake, rolling out of bed and rushing to my door, throwing it open.

There stood Midoriya breathing heavily as he stood there. Thank goodness, Katsuki was actually in his room where he belonged.

"What? What is it?" I asked urgently.

"I- I don't-" He stammered out. He clearly in a bit of a panic as he couldn't even get the words out.

I placed my hand on his shoulder as I slowly used my quirk on him to calm him down. "Let me get changed real quick, and then we can talk outside, okay?"

"Yeah... Okay," he replied distantly.

I nodded, shutting the door so I could change. I threw on my gym uniform and zipped the jacket up since it was the beginning of December and starting to get cold outside.

I opened up the door once I was finished, seeing Midoriya waiting for me patiently. Obviously, my quirk was working and starting to calm him down.

"Let's go outside, yeah?" I suggested. He nodded and started walking down the hall.

Once we made it outside, we walked down a small path that went through the forest surrounding the dorms. When we reached a spot with a bench, we sat down. It was still dark outside, so it was a good thing there was a lamp next to the bench.

"So, what is it, Midoriya?"

He took a deep breath before he explained. Basically, he had a dream, more like a vision. He saw the memories of the original wielder of One for All. Apparently, he was All for One's little brother. All for One forced his brother inherit a quirk because he thought he was quirkless. But it turned out that the ability All for One forced onto him combined with his own quirk, creating One for All. The first wielder had also spoken to Midoriya about how he's only using 20% of the power and something he called the singularity. The dream made him activate his quirk in real life, which woke him up and shattered his window.

When he was finished, I sat there processing what he had said. After a moment, an idea popped into my head. "Listen, Midoriya... I'm not sure if this is possible... But maybe I can try and use my quirk to go into One for All. It's a long shot, but maybe since it's part of your body, I can do it."

His eyes widened at my suggestion, "Really? You think that you could do that?"

"Like I said, I'm not sure. But it's not totally impossible, right" I continued.

He hummed in thought, pondering the idea for a moment. Then, he looked back up at me and nodded, "Do it."

I nodded, releasing a breath as I did. I slowly reach my hand out, placing it on his forehead as I closed my eyes.

See, my quirk allows me to sense quirk genes in a sense. I can't exactly tell what that person's quirk is, but I can tell immediately whether they are quirkless or not based on their cell composition. So, my thought was that if I could get down to a cellular level, I could possibly single out the quirk gene and see what happens.

I rooted around deeper and deeper. I tried my best to single out the quirk gene, but I just couldn't grasp it. It was sort of like I was standing in a void, nothing around me at all. I was about to give up, when I felt a tug. It was almost like something was inviting me in. Suddenly, a spot of light lit up inside the void. It had a certain warm and welcoming glow to it. I walked over to the light and hesitantly reach out to it. As soon as my finger's touched it, I was sucked into it.

I yelped as I experienced a sort of falling sensation. But I slowly stopped, my feet landing on a grey floor inside the void.

"Hello?" I called out, my voice echoing inside the nothingness.
