It was already dark outside. I was making a fire while reading a book when My head started to ache. It felt like it was going to split open. I had never felt something as powerful as this. I thought I was dying so I made a last prayer to all the Gods. I was fully ready to die, something I never expected to feel. A golden and silver light appear. My two best step out of the light. Hecate and Apollo. They look at me. I couldn't follow their conversation, my eyesight was blurry and I was sweating too much. Apollo put a cold cloth on my forehead. "Well, she overreacted." he says to Hecate. She nods.

I wake up that was already so long ago. The first thing I hear every morning are the snakes behind my ear. I stand up and put on my white chiton with gold clips. The snakes are hissing at eachother. "Shut it draco!" I say one snake shuts up and the other one laughs. "You too ophis." he pouts, I have given all my snakes or should I say hair names. It makes it less hard to shut them up. One of my other snakes want to start talking but I roll my eyes and say before he can say anything: "Every word any of you says right now is another day as normal hair!" They all instantly close their mouths. "THank you ladies and gentlemen." Or whatever you are. I think. I comb my hand through the snakes as the slowly turn into long black hair with a greenish tint. My sister medusa isn't able to change here hair, I can only do it because I have learned magic from the gods themselves. I hate my sisters but they will always be my sisters. I hate my parents more, how can they still revere the one who has made a monster of your children? How could you revere the one who has actively killed your child?

I shake my head, I do not understand them. I cover my few scales with white powder I have made out of flowers. I walk out onto the fields of the Island I live on. A island that is popular among Gods. "Aeschylus" Apollo exclaims as he jumps onto my back. I try my best not to colappse as I chuckle. 'Good morning to you too. Why are you in such a mood?" I ask. "Do I need a reason?" He asks with a bright smile. "Have you gotten my message?" I ask, dropping the smile. He bites his lip. "I do not understand why you would ever want to talk to her." He says with a frown. "She won't give you love, she is cruel Aeschylus you do not need another curse." "I want to make a deal with her." "She is a Godess Aeschylus, do not be foolish. You cannot beat Gods, look at what happened to your sister." I smirk. "The godess of wisdom ha an ego. She has been begging for somebody with the same temprament to challenge her." "You are not willing to back down are you Aeschylus?" I shake my head. "It is your own life" "I'm immortal remember. I have nothing to fear but a curse. What can be worse than this one?"

I am waiting on them. I pluck a fig from a tree and look at it as i oncentrate it slowly turns to stone. Not everything that looks at us turns to stone, not everyone we see turns to stone. They only believe that, that is why they are so incredibly scared of us. We are too beautiful for their world, we are scary. Too perfect to be ugly, too monstrous to be beautiful. The humans find it too confusing.

Apollo walks up to me and behind him is the most beautiful woman I have ever seen, her long blood red hair swaying in the wind, he gently lips are elegant as look as if they could sing the symphonies of all out hearts, her eyes are piercing but loving. As if she knows all about you and her smile.....her smile is.......frigthening in its beauty. It is as if she knows something you don't know or will never know.

"Aeschylus, meet Aphrodite, Godess of love, lust, pleasure, passion and beauty." I stand up and shake her soft hand. Acting as if I am not impressed by the beautiful Godess. "Aphrodite, this is Aeschylus, my best friend" "And brother of Medusa." I add. She seems surprised. "Where are your?" she ask, I smile and my snakes suddenly appear again. Aphrodite pulls away her hand. "No need to be afraid of me Miss, at least not yet. I was thinking we strike up a deal."

"What do you want?" She asks when we suddenly sit in a temple with a stone table between us. Apollo is sitting next to me. He looks at me. "Don't disrespect her." He whispers. I smile. "What would you say if I want the sworn victim to fall in love." He expression doesn't change. I smile. "Athena." Her lips curl up into a smile. I know that Athena and Aprhrodite have a strained relationship. "Why do you want this?" She asks. "I want to humiliate her as much as I can." "Don't you think you'll suffer her wrath?" Aphrodite asks. "If I do it well she will love me too much to cast more wrath onto me." "So you have a plan." I smile "Of course, I have been brooding on it for years and years Aphrodite." She smiles and leans back. "So can I count on you? Do we have a deal." "Is that even a question young men? Of course we have" She says while gracefully shaking my hand.

So don't mind me personally disliking Athena (I have no idea why. I mean she is a great godess but I don't know why I am not fond of her) I hope I won't upset any mythology fans.

Aeschylus is the brother of the feared gorgon Medusa, but why haven't you ever heard his story? A boy who could outsmart Athena, a boy who was friends with multiple gods, a male version of circe. Why do we not know the boy who has known a lot of the heroes of the mythology? In this book you'll get the answers why this gorgon has been erased from mythology and history.
