I put the pin through the last picture. I smile as I look at the room I will be leaving behind. Finally Eightteen, finally free. I pack my case and put my picture books and all my important clothes. I smell the cozy sweater that Byron gave me.

I walk over the green carpet through the halls with a smirk on my face. The Smiths music blasting on my headphones as I dance down the stairs. My parents are waiting for me in the dining room. I open the two doors with flair. "I am oficially an Adult!" I say with a smirk. My father's eyebrow shoots up but I cannot wipe away the smile I have I felt so happy. "I have a surprise for you two!" I say with a smile and lead them to my room.

Both of their faces are still riddled with disdain and hatred for me. "Close your eyes." They oblige and close their eyes. I open the door and push them inside. "Open your eyes." I say with a smirk, they listen and open their eyes to every inch of the room covered in pictures. "What is this." "Look closely mother." I say with a smile, she looks at a picture and her faces changes from confusion to anger. My father's smile fades too. I close the door and lock it. "Let us out Arden Lee Neil Arthur Fletcher." "No! Look at what you have done to me, all of those pictures were take whenever you hurt me again. Look at the bruises, the cuts you made, the wound. You injured me again and that is exactely the reason why I am leaving!" I say with a smile, "With my real family." I say. "We are your real family!" My father yells. I laugh hysterically. "You'll be let out by the help eventually, and no you are not my real family, look at the boys on the photo in the middle. That is my family, my real family." "But you are a fletcher you are our last heir." "Well, it's like you used to say you can take man out of the house of Fletcher not the house of fletcher out of the man. So I suppose I still am father. Well, Todeloo, I promise I used to love you." I say as I grab my suitcase and run off the stairs.

I run onto the driveway and turn around and I see my parents through the window. I smile brightly and wave goodbye like a toddler before strapping the suitcase on the front of the bicycle. I begin to ride it as fast as I can and I feel the extreme freedom as let go of the handlebars. The wind catches my black hair and I trust that I will finally be fine.

I arrive at the old ruin where we said we would meet eachother. "Arden! Up here" I here Byron scream from a tree. I look up and smile, "Be careful you don't fall into the river." I say as I laugh. "Are the other's here yet." "No, we will be waiting on them." He says as he jumps out of the tree. I smile, "How did they react?" I laugh, "I never mentioned I would tell the truth." He burst out in laughter. "Of course you didn't" I look into his beautiful blue eyes and kiss his tender lips, I am surprised by it myself but when I want to apolegetically pull back he grabs my head and pulls me back. He smiles, "You don't know how long I have waited for that." He whispers, I look at his auburn hair and his kind eyes. "Of course you did Byron Spencer, I should've known shouldn't I"

"Hello lovebirds." Wallace says jumping off his old bicycle and walking up to us, "Christian and Oakley are right behind me, probably trying to catch their breath." We laugh. "So did you arrange the car?" I ask Byron. He nods "Of course I did, I am not daft." Oakley and christian walk up to us, both of them are severly out of breath. They both hug me, "How did your parents take it." Oakley asks while lighting my cigarette. "Not lightly." "I arranged the drinks!" Christian says with a smirk. I smile. "And our dear wallace shall be our driver because he is allergic to alcohol!" Byron says with a smile and hands him the keys. "No fair!" Wallace says and we laugh. His long fiery red hair blows gently in the wind as we walk towards the place Byron put the car.

"My father gave me that porsche for my last birthday, he said I could do whatever I want and thought this grand tour was an excellent idea." Byron says while we look at the luxury. "Welp, we are very lucky." "I want to sit in the front!" Oakley screams. I laugh, he laughs back his dark complexion and frizzy hair stands out amongst the other friends. "Alright, we'll sit next to eachother." I say to Byron and he smirks as he combs his hand through my hair. "God, Do I need to stomach this lovey-dovey thing for the whole journey?"Christian says sarcastically, I stick my tongue out and he makes a funny face which doesn't suit his classic complexion, he is a typical classic beauty with his white face, black eyes and honey blonde hair.

We step into the car. "So where to?" Wallace asks. "Anywhere" Byron says. "What do you think Arden?" Christian asks. "Yes, it is your birthday, you should say it." Oakley responds. I smile. "Anywhere where the road takes us. let's live a little." I scream. We begin to drive and sing along to inhaler's these are the days. We are chasing the wind and our car is running from our memories, I think I will be finally okay. "Stand up, just for a moment." Byron whispers in my ear. The music changes to Changes from David bowie and as the signature voice of my idol drifts into my ears I feel the euphoria of freedom as I feel the wind in my face, drying the tears of joy. I hear myself screaming of joy, I am happy, I am finally happy, and I am finally home again. I kiss Byron as he stands up too to make a picture. "Thank you, thank you for talking to me back in boarding school"

"I am alive!!!!" I scream, my lungs cannot bear the way I am screaming but I cannot stop "I am still fucking alive!!!"

I know it kinda sounds a bit like the trip but I like this one, it is more joyous
