Cecil-Alfie

The rains is pouring as I try my level best not to lose control of the car. The dark main road is slippery and I can hardly see anything, I only know I need to get there. As soon as possible, this could be the end of everything. It can't be, the society has been here for such a long time. We cannot afford any more slip ups. I feel tears of frustration in my eyes as I pull on my tie in order to feel less like I am suffocating. But it doesn't help, I am too stressed out. Of course I am stressed. I have fucked it up, all those people who came before me must be so incredibly disappointed in me. I made a vow, I promised to conserve the society, we must! We can't let one little mistake ruin us again.

The white lights of the car are lighting up the street in the middle of the night, the woods on the side of the road are boring to look at and I need to concentrate so I won't fall asleep. And than I see it, I hear my Klaxon as I press on it to alert the deer standing with it's back to me. As I hear the screeches of my tyres as I try desperately to come to a halt but I know that this deer will die.I look it in his eyes and see the fear and desperation as he is frozen in place, we both know he will die. Even if I deny it. When the impact comes I brace myself.

As soon as the car stops I step out of it. The poor thing is lying on the ground, blood staining the road dark red but it almost seems black. The big eyes beg me for help but I know I cannot give it under any circumstances, so I will only comfort it as it dies. I hope that is enough to rid me from this terrible feeling. The tear catches the light of my glistening but broken headlights. It looks beautiful and peaceful under the mood as the creature starts moving slower and slower, the fear locked in it's eyes that will never see anything else again. He looks one last time at me and it's almost as if it wants to say something. The pupils slowly dilate and the body begins to rest. Death is so much heavier than life I think as I put down it's head and close it's eyes.

"There he is!" Antoine exclaims as he emerges from the forest with the other members of society. They look at the deer, perplexed by the amount of blood, the new members are shocked but older ones like Antoine, Hamish, Blaise and I do not have any expression on our faces. Death is something natural. "Antoine, there's another set of clothes in my boot, put them on the front seat." I say. "What are we going to do with this?" A young member named Basil asks. "We will bury it." I say while putting on latex gloves.

Months before

Basil

"Tell me Oisin why don't you cry?" I ask him. "Come on basil, everybody knows deers don't cry! They only scream" He says while bumping against my arm with his fist. Oisin is my best friend. "Ah you wild buck." I say jokingly, he grabs my book and starts to run through the courtyard of the University. This is our first year here at one of the most prestregious Universities of the world. It wasn't a surprise that Oisin and I were accepted. Back in the boarding school we were always were top students and the school was one with high standards.

We run through the university, there's so much joy in us. There always has been, but now that we are where we have wished to be since we were quite small there's even more. I have always been puzzled by Oisin, he is the exact thing that everyone thinks about when they see a aristocrat. But he is so much more under than arrogant facade he likes to trick people with. He is extremely elegant and to be honest more times he is surprisingly humble. His halflong blonde hair is resting on his shoulder and his green eyes can pierce through anyone who argues with him. He looks down on certain people but not the middle class, he looks down on people who need to feel better than others. But that's easy when privilege provides your potential. You can look down on the ones who's blood is boiling with hatred for the ones they once were.

Still, Oisin is more kind than everybody. I smile, I am still proud of myself for having such an amazing best friend. We are walking through the halls when we hear Oisin's name. "Ignore them" He says. I frown. "Who are they?" "The fortis society." He says while ignoring the guys who run up to him. I have never heard of it, but I've heard that many dinner clubs are extremely secretive. "We are so happy to see you here too." One says as he blocks the way. "I don't want to join." Oisin says as he tries to pass. "Come on, your father was a member! Your uncle there are so many family memories ingraved in the club" "I do not want to join." He whispers through his teeth.

"Who is this?" The tall leader blocking the way says. "My name is Basil." I say. He shakes my hands and leans in. "Nice to meet you, My name is Cecil-Alphonse, but you can call me Alfie." I smile, this beautiful men with his golden hair sleeked back. His grey eyes are piercing but strangely kind. "Have you ever heard of the Fortis society?" He smiles. I shake my head. "A society full of the future leaders of the world. Many prime ministers have been pat of it, princes, dukes and celebrities. You learn how to become succesful. You're more than welcome, there's plenty of space, we normally are very picky. But it Oisin likes you you must be special." He says as he gives me a letter. "Quit is Alfie!" Oisin says. "Maybe he wants to join, let him" Oisin turns to me. "You don't know what you're getting yourself into." I shrug, I want to become succesful. "I'll be there." Oisin turns around, "I'll be there too!" Oisin says and alfie hands him a letter too. "I'll see you there, little deer." Alfie says to Oisin. "Little deer?" I ask. "That's what my name means" He says.

little did I know the little deer would be dead months later.

This book focuses on the crimes of certain high society people. I am thinking of making it a psychological thriller or smth.
When oisin and Basil join the Fortis society nothing turns out to be what it seems. An inition gone wrong throws the whole society into a possible scandal, but is it possible to save the club? If you ask Alfie that is the number one priority
