Chapter Fifteen - Nooner?

Harry, Steve and Draco enter their common room on their way to the dorms and Steves fire whiskey.

"Dray!!" Pansy jumps off the couch and leaps into Draco's arms. He drops his bag in order to catch her as she wraps her legs around his waist and her arms around his neck. "Did you see?!?", she smiles and kisses him.

"I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about." Draco drops his arms so she is no longer supported and is forced to stand.

"They picked me!" Pansy grabs his face and kisses him again. Harry puts his hand on Malfoys back to help keep his balance since she is throwing herself into the kiss. Releasing him fully and smiling broadly, "I am the new Editor and Chief of Hogwarts newspaper... I have so many ideas." She screeches happily and looks at the two boys with him.

"Harry!!" She grabs his face and kisses him, putting as much effort into his kiss as Malfoys.

"Stephen!!" Pansy makes a grab for him but he side steps behind Draco for protection.

"Well done, Pans." Draco hugs her, "You'll have to tell me everything, but right now, we have something to discuss in Cornfoot's room."

"What?" Pansy's face falls, "But I have so many ideas."

"You should start advertising for reporters and photographers." Harry tries to keep her happiness at the level they enter with. "I know Mike Corner wants to write for you."

"Really? Do you know where he is?" Pansy smiles broadly.

"He'll be in the library." Steve steps out from behind Draco.

"Thanks, Stephen darling." Pansy makes to move pass them, but quickly grabs Mike by the front of his jumper and kisses him. She leaves the common room smiling and happy.

The rest of the common room is silent. Ron and Hermoine are sitting at a table with their mouths open.

"Is she always like that when she's happy?" Steve leans into Draco to whisper.

"Only when she's extremely happy about something. Let's go." Draco leads the way to the stairs and to Cornfoot's room.

Steve rummages around in his trunk and motions for Harry and Draco to have a seat. Instead of sitting on the couch, they sit on the floor near the fire. Finally, Steve finds his bottle. It's not opened yet. He joins them on the floor creating a triangle.

"I don't have cups or anything, so here." Steve takes a sip and passes it to Harry who in turn passes it to Draco.

"What should we drink to?" Harry asks on his fourth pull from the bottle. He's feeling warm inside and happier than he's been in weeks. He passes the bottle to Draco which is only half full now.

"To mental health." Steve drinks.

"To happiness." Harry takes a sip.

"To not having Potter's hair." Draco swallows.

"I'll drink to that." Steve takes the bottle.

"Oi! It's not that bad." Harry frowns and takes his drink.

"Potter, do you even brush it?" Draco drinks.

"Come here." Steve takes his sip and pulls Harry to him handing him the bottle.

Harry drinks as Steve tries brushing Harry's hair out with his fingers. They get stuck the first time through.

"I brush my hair, I just haven't since this morning. Who brushes their hair that much anyway." Harry hands the bottle to Draco. "Ow. Cornfoot be gentle."
