Hermione was woken by a light tapping on her door. She checked the clock; it was quarter past five in the morning. She could see Parvati turning in her bed. Quietly she got up and cracked open her door.
"Harry." She whispered pulling her sweaty friend into her room. Putting her finger to her lips she had him sit on her bed, as she closes the drapes around them. She cast a silencing spell as to not wake her roommate.
"Lumos." Harry said after she finished. Lighting up the inside of her bed.
"Honestly Harry, it's very early. Why are you here?"
Harry looked around, trying to figure out what time it was. He forgets sometimes how early Malfoy's been waking him up. Dawn had just begun as they finished running. He couldn't forget how Malfoy woke him up today. His hand running through Harry's hair until he opened his eyes. Followed by the soft feel of his lips, it was a great way to wake up. Even if he did immediately insult Harry's morning breath, it didn't stop Malfoy from kissing him.
Hermione snaps her fingers in front of him, "Focus Harry." She smiles watching the grin spread across his face, she can tell whatever he's thinking about is probably what brought him in here today. "Why are you in such a giddy mood? I haven't seen you like this since... well, I'm not sure I've ever seen you like this to be honest."
"Ah..." Harry blushes, "I was wondering, Hermione, if maybe you could..." Harry turns his neck and shows off the love bite he's sporting. "Could you heal this for me?"
"HARRY!!" Hermione squeals, "Yes, of course I can heal that; but why? You have to tell me everything before I help you... When did this happen? Was it him? Did you two..."
"I, ah..." Harry blushes, "I need to talk to Justin today, and... Ernie thinks he likes me, and I don't want to hurt him, but I have to tell him that, ah, that I just, you know, like him like a friend. If Ernie's right and he sees this." Harry points to his neck, "It might make him feel bad. I don't want to, you know, rub his face in the fact I'm not interested..."
"Did you tell Malfoy?"
"About Justin? Yeah. He thinks Ernie's right too."
"No idiot, that you're healing this... I'm right in assuming he's the one who gave that to you?"
"Yeah, he did."
"I really think you should talk to him about this before having me heal it, what if he gets upset?"
"Do you think he'd care? I mean, what if people ask who gave it to me?"
"People are going to ask, Harry." Hermione frowns, "Have you talked to him about what you should say?"
"No."
"So, basically, there's not a lot of talking going on." Hermione grins.
"We talk... we've had conversations."
"Really, name one? And you're not allowed to name any of the one's you've had while you were drunk."
"Ah..." Harry frowns, "We talked about... yes, we had a great conversation while we worked on potions and while waiting for Steve to finish up therapy."
"You said those were question and answer... that's not a conversation."
"Yes, it is." Harry smiles, "That counts Hermione."
"Did you talk this morning? I'm assuming, this..." Hermione touches Harry's neck, "...happened last night."
"Oh... no, we didn't. We were kind of just lost in our own thoughts. I was just thinking, you know, about what to do about Justin, and I don't think Malfoy should know that I spent the morning thinking about that. About Justin..."
