Harry woke up next to Dean, sprawled out on his floor, or is this Dean's floor? Malfoy's going to kill him, if he can survive him, then Hermione will kill him. This wasn't even his idea. After they all went to bed, Dean came and begged Harry to come to his. Ok, yes, so he's on Dean's floor not his. Well on the bright side, Malfoy's less likely to find him here. Hermione definitely won't since Ron's Dean's roommate. Is Ron here?

Harry sits up, nope, Ron's not here. What time is it? He looks down at his watch.

"Oh shit." Harry shakes Dean, "Wake up. We're going to miss potions."

Dean swats at him, "Fuck off Harry."

"No, Dean, you need to get up."

"Where am I?"

"Dean, you're in your room. We're going to be late for class."

"Why am I on the floor?" Dean groans, "I'm not going, I don't feel good."

"Come on, you have to go."

"I think... I think..." Dean starts crawling to the bathroom, "I'm going to be sick."

Harry picks him up, draping an arm over his shoulder as they stagger to the bathroom. Harry closes the door, giving Dean privacy. He was sick. They should not have drank last night. Harry didn't even want to drink last night, why did they?

Harry holds his head; would it be wrong to get hangover potions from Malfoy's room? He is his fiancé, right, so that would be alright. Right? Probably not. Remember the biscuits, but that was different, he ate all his biscuits. Would Malfoy care if he took two potions? Maybe, but even if he didn't care he'd have to tell him why. He would care about getting wasted on a Tuesday even if it wasn't his fault. Why did they drink last night? Why did Dean come and get him and not Seamus? That's right, Seamus was sleeping, but Dean didn't want Seamus to come anyway. He said that. He said a lot of things, that's right, Dean was upset. That's why they drank last night, because Dean was freaking out.

"Dean." Harry knocks on the door, "We have to go. Snape will kill us if we skip."

"I can't Harry." Dean moans, "I don't want to see him."

"It'll be fine. He's your best friend. He's not your partner in potions, Blaise is. Me and Ron sit between you and Seamus." Harry tries, "He has no idea what's going on."

The door opens, Dean looks horrible. He splashed some water on his face, he brushed his teeth, but he still looks bad. He smells worse.

"Throw some cologne on and get changed." Harry makes his way to the door, "I'll meet you in the common room in five minutes. You're a Gryffindor, you can do this."

"I'm sorry."

"Don't be."

Harry and Dean are late. He peeks his head in the door, Snape is facing the other way. They snuck to their desks, hopefully their absences haven't been noticed.

"Blimey." Ron wrinkles his nose, "Harry, you smell awful. Did you bathe in bloody fire whiskey or is this some new..." Malfoy turns to glare at him.

"Mr. Weasley." Snape turns from the blackboard, "Ah, I see, Mr. Potter and Mr. Thomas have decided to grace us with their presence today. We are thrilled to have our local celebrity deign to honor us with his company and with that of a most trusted confidant. Now, please inform the class, which base you have decided to use in the concoction we're brewing to free the two imbecilic morons in the back."

"Yes, sir," Harry takes out his book and parchment, "The potion I've been working on for Mr. Goyle and Mr. Macmillan would have a base of standard potion water. I thought about using water that has been infused with dittany but that could affect the moonstone I thought I might add."
