Pansy Parkinson sat in her room looking at all the Dailey Prophet news clippings she'd amassed over the summer. Trying to convince herself that going back to Hogwarts is a good idea. Of course, she doesn't really have a choice in this. Her mother demanded that she finish her education. She knows that there is only a hand full of Slytherins that plan on returning but at least most of her year are being forced to. Either as part of their probation or because their family wants them to finish like her mother and help rebuild their family's reputation. Still, it will be awkward. The fact she regretted trying to offer Harry Potter over to Voldemort in front of him wouldn't change the fact that she did so in front of the entire school; but she has decided that this year she would be Potter's secret defender. She could never admit that she was wrong, nor could she apologize to the smug git; but working from the shadows is a perfect Slytherin past time. This should make this year fun, especially if the rumor mill is right about the ending of Potters and girl Weasleys relationship. Flipping through the clippings, she decided that she would show her friends this scrapbook on the ride back to school.
