Simon keeps circling Blaise as they head towards the Great Hall for dinner. The boy's excitement level increased with the development of each new picture. Even though Simon was hungry, dinner doesn't start until 6:00pm, which meant they had time to keep working. Blaise is regretting inviting his young Puff to help him. If he knew what were on those rolls of film he wouldn't have even considered. The harm is done at this point, his innocence shaken but not lost. At least he's not a total monster. If he was a professor, he would take all the points from himself and give him detentions. Fortunately, he's just a student with, what one might say, are questionable scruples. C'est la vie*.
"Blaise, why won't you tell me what they were doing in that shed?" Simon bounces as he walks backwards in front of him, "I don't think she was praying. I think you're lying about that. Why would she be praying with her head in his lap, that's mental? His hand was in her hair, and it wasn't what priests do, I've seen movies with priests, and they don't hold on to people's heads like that when they pray. You're lying. Who was it anyway, his head was leaning back too far, and her face..." Simon blushes, "It was a blow job wasn't it? Someone took a picture of a blow job in action." Simon points at him, "That's pornographic. Just because you couldn't see anything doesn't make it not pornographic... Am I right?" Simon bounces, "Was that a picture of a blow job?"
"It's called fellatio, and I don't know. I wasn't the one to take that photo. We can only speculate."
"All their clothes were on."
"That's true."
"Blaise, what's a blow job anyway?"
"Simon." Ian calls from down the hall.
Simon's friend, Ian, is walking with the other seeker whose name escapes Blaise. He's never been happier to see a Gryffindor in his life.
"Ian, Kyle, you will never believe what happened." Simon dashes away, "I was helping Blaise develop pictures and you won't believe what happened at that wedding all those 8th years went to..."
"Simon." Blaise runs after him, so undignified, but it must be done. "Simon, remember what we talked about?" Blaise asks, "You promised, remember?"
"Ah..." Simon stops, you can see the boy replaying everything that happened between the two of them this afternoon, "Oh, yeah, I wasn't going to tell them about that. Well, you said I could tell Ian because he's my best friend. Sorry Kyle, you can be Daisy's best friend. She needs a best friend, and you don't want Ian to be your best friend, so it works out. Anyway, Blaise, you said I couldn't say anything about that one thing with your mate, but you never said anything about the photos. I'd remember and you didn't but... oh my god, Ernie's coming!" Simon starts bouncing as he watches a group of 8th years come up from the dungeons. "Blaise! Ernie's coming, Ian, Kyle, did you see what Ernie did at lunch. Of course you did, I was with you guys. Ian, I have to tell you why, I know why it happened. Can we talk later? Not in front of Kyle? Sorry Kyle, it's Blaise's fault. I think we would consider this related to the thing I can't talk to you about."
"We would." Blaise sighs, "Simon, why don't you eat dinner with me tonight? Ernie usually sits near me."
"Simon, are you sure you don't want to sit with us?" Ian smirks at Blaise.
"Oh... I... ah... I do, but..."
"I'm not sitting with you tonight." Kyle says flatly.
"Ok?" Ian frowns.
"I mean," Kyle sighs, he hates having to pick his words, this is going to be exhausting, "My friend asked if I would sit with my house tonight, she has to talk to us about something important. Life and death stuff, or so she claims."
