Hermione smiles at the retreating Ravenclaw, she didn't know Dean had family here. The boy was awkward but nice.

Daphne wandered off to look for a book they'll need for History of Magic.

"What did Snape and DuBois say about the arithmancy project you and Malfoy were working on." Hermione looks at Pansy, "You guys spent weeks working on it."

"I wasn't there when he presented it." Pansy looks around the library until she spots Draco sitting next to Seamus, across from Harry, "Let's find out Darling." She goes to rise but Greg's words stop her.

"He never finished it," Greg smirks as he flips to the next page in his charms book, "He never interviewed Potter."

"Are you kidding?" Pansy throws down her quill, "We spent weeks on this; sleepless nights, and he didn't finish it? Do you know how many times I woke up with ink on my face? How do you know?"

"I don't for certain but sit back and imagine it... Dray and Harry sitting across from each other, parchment all around them, Dray's serious face in place, Potter looking confused, sorry 'Mione, it's just how I picture it... do you have that in your heads?" They both nod, "Ok, good, now imagine Draco Malfoy asking Harry Potter about his feelings, and not just any feelings but how he feels about him, how long has he felt that way, how intense is his love for him." Greg starts laughing, "There's no fucking way. No way in any universe do I see that conversation taking place. Have you ever seen them talk nice to each other? I mean, I assume behind closed doors they have to be different, but I don't know. Love? Can you imagine either of them saying that?" Greg nudges Hermione, "Has he ever told you he loves you? Or Ron?"

"No, he never has but he's shown how much he loves me. Over the years, there's no doubt that he loves me."

"Yeah, he does." Greg agrees, "But that's not the project. Draco needs him to first admit he loves him, and second articulate it. I bet you 10 galleons Potter doesn't even know why the potion didn't work on him the second time. No, I'll bet you 50 galleons he doesn't know that the lust potion is countered by love."

"I'm going to kill him." Pansy pushes off the table to march over to Draco.

"Should we stop her?" Hermione smiles at him.

"You can, I'm not, I like all my body parts attached to my body. Nope, this is on Dray, he should have never gotten her involved if he was going to puss out at the end."

"I can't find it." Daphne sits across from Greg, "Someone must have taken it out. We'll need to pick a different topic." She sighs.

They watch as Pansy pulls Draco from his seat, before marching him into the rows of shelves away from his table.

"What did he do?" Daphne laughs, "She's in a fit."

"Wasted her time." Greg goes back to working on his charm's homework.

"Oh no, he's going to die." She laughs. "If not the goblin rebellions, what do you want to do the project on?"

"What about the Sacred 28 and their roles in shaping history?" Hermione looks up from writing, "We have people in our year we can interview." Hermione starts ticking them off on her fingers, "Hannah Abbott, Millie Bulstrode, you Daphne, Neville Longbottom, Ernie Macmillan, Draco Malfoy, Theodore Nott, Pansy Parkinson... I'm forgetting someone."

"Seriously?" Greg laughs.

"Yes, from our year, I know I'm forgetting someone."

"Ronald Weasley." Daphne joins in laughing at Hermione, definitely at her, not with her.

"Oh, shut up." Hermione blushes, "There's others too, in younger years. We have some Burkes, Travers and Yaxleys in our school too."

"There's no Yaxley's." Daphne huffs, "Thank god, they're horrible people."
