After we finished playing monopoly, Matt was trying to clean up everything with Chris so we could go to bed.
"Nate are you sleeping over? Nick asked.
"Yeah I'm really tired." Nate says.
"Nick, help us so we can go to bed." Chris says in a tired voice. We were all exhausted that game of monopoly took hours to finish.
Nate held my hand as we both just were waiting for them to clean up.
"I'm so tired goodnight guys." Nick says going to his room.
The rest of us head upstairs and say goodnight to each other. Nate actually was gonna sleep in my room which made me feel a little nervous but it was ok.
"Goodnight Nate." I say closing my eyes.
"Goodnight Madi." Nate softly says.
I go on my phone just for a bit and get s text from Nick.
Texting....
Nick: Are you okay?
Madi: Yeah why?
Nick: It's just cause like everyone knows that you two are like dating and i just wanted make sure you were comfortable
Madi: Yeah I'm fine about it It's just that weird feeling you know
Nick: yeah but it's ok you guys are happy together
Madi: Yeah, Nick didn't you say you were tired?
Nick: Yeah but i just had to text you and see how everything was going
Madi: It's ok Nick goodnight
Nick: Night
Madi: wait Nick
Nick: what?
Madi: I think that i love Nate
Nick: Really!?
Madi: yeah but it's awkward to just straight up be like "I love you."
Nick: Yeah, but like whatever just straight up tell him how you feel tomorrow
Madi: TOMORROW!?
Nick: Yeah why not
Madi: Don't you think that's a little bit early?
Nick: No you could even do it right now.
Madi: Nick your crazy
Nick: So not tomorrow?
Madi: No I wanna do it tomorrow I'm gonna tell him.
Nick: Nice, ok goodnight Madi.
Madi: Night!
I turn off my phone and close my eyes.
I can't fall asleep i keep thinking about tomorrow am i really gonna tell Nate i love him? I overthink all the time even when it's not my situation sometimes.
I decide to text Matt to see if he's still awake.
Texting....
Madi: Matt I can't sleep what about you?
Matt: I was about to but you texted me
Madi: Sorry but i have to tell you something
Matt: Then tell me
Madi: Tomorrow I'm gonna tell Nate that i love him
Matt: You are!?
Madi: Yeah earlier i was talking about it with Nick on text and he said i could do it tomorrow
Matt: Are you ok with that?
Madi: what do you mean?
Matt: like are you sure you want to, are sure your ready?
Madi: Yeah i feel like i should i really want to.
Matt: Then go for it tell him tomorrow.
Madi: Ok thanks Matt goodnight.
Matt: Night
I check the time and then go on instagram for a little bit.
I still was thinking about where was i gonna tell Nate i might as well just say it.
