I stared at my ceiling for a good 3 minutes and dragged myself out of my bed to get on with my day.
I was starting to make my bed to you know make my room look a little bit clean cause it was kind of a mess, then my phone went off.
I picked up my phone it was an instagram notification. Nate followed me back!!
Very small little time skip:
I headed downstairs to see Nick, Matt, and Chris. Dad was at work and mom went shopping for groceries.
"So how'd the party go last night" Nick said, "I heard about what happened" Nick said looking over at me.
"What?" I said looking at him.
"You and Nate got something going on" Nick said looking over at me.
"What are you talking about we were just talking it's nothing big." I said.
"Madi we know there is something going on between you guys we saw it at the party." Matt said.
"It doesn't matter I don't wanna push things so quick, we're just talking." I said.
I didn't really know why I was really defensive about it, maybe it was because I was scared of getting my heart broken again. Or maybe I just was too scared to be an in a relationship. I know Chris's biggest fear is having a girlfriend, it's kind of similar to how I feel right now. I'm nervous about all of this.
"Madi, we know your nervous cause of your first relationship, but you have to forget about the past. You like him, we all see it." Matt said.
I guess I did like Nate, but I don't know. For some reason I just couldn't think, I just didn't know.
"Yeah." I quietly said.
"Give me your phone." Nick said reaching his hand out to me. I looked up at him.
"Why?" I asked.
"Just trust me." He said. I placed my phone in his hand and he was doing something on my phone but I didn't know what he was doing.
"What are you doing?" I said sitting up straight on the couch.
"Wait." Nick said. ~~~
The text read, "hey, I know we just started to get to know each other, but we should hang out sometime soon"
